Comfortable and clean room. WiFi was very weak- not able to use. Large 2 bedroom unit. Fully self contained

Everything was absolutely perfect until the very end. Very spacious rooms. Well-equiped kitchen. Bathroom well-stocked. Plenty of linens. Every bed was equipped with its own heater, which, while we didn't need to use, was nice. I would have given five stars on everything if not for the final moments of our checkout. We had spent all morning packing, loading the car, and cleaning the kitchen. Both the room door and car door were wide open the whole time. But before we could leave, we had to use the bathroom one last time. And that is when management decided to come over without any knock or ring and give us a big lecture about how checkout was twenty minutes ago, presuming we were not aware of the checkout time. My dad then had to explain (rather embarrassingly) that we were all ready to go, except we were just using the bathroom one last time since we didn't know when was the next time we would get the chance. When I went to return the key, I explained to management that we were very aware of the checkout time and it was clear we were checking out, as our room door and car door were open and everything had been loaded into the car. Management begrudgingly responded with a genuinely unapologetic "OK, Thank you," further rubbing salt on the wound. So, all in all, I would have highly recommended the Kiwi Court Motel to all my friends, but now that this insult to my intelligence has left a sour taste in my mouth, I am not so sure. Perhaps management needs to learn to be nicer?

Wonderful helpful hosts. Room was clean, quiet and peaceful. I was suppose to be attending a child's 4th birthday over the weekend however caught a cold that rendered me unable to attend, thankfully my partner was able to go. Penny made sure I had everything I needed and let me know that they were there should I need anything else. Above and beyond. Beds are extremely comfortable and the spa bath is highly recommended. Thank you Mr and Mrs Mitchell for making it a pleasant stay despite my circumstances.

Solid hotel and good value. Nice room, friendly staff, and plenty of parking. Long-ish walk (or short drive) to central Hawera where all the restaurants are.

Clean rooms and linens, comfy bed, quiet and peaceful, friendly receptionist. Overall we had a good stay. Will definitely comeback

Lovely place. Clean tidy units. Amazing views of the mountain. Heater noisy and slow to heat the unit but still enjoyed our stay.

We loved staying here. The only thing was it took about 15mins for the shower hot water to heat up. Other than that, everything was perfect. It was a warm and it was clean. Tv shows available for the kids and the kitchen had everything i needed. Cleaning staff were excellent and friendly and so was the owner. Looking forward to staying there again

Our host was friendly and welcoming and our unit had everything we needed. This is a great location for starting to explore the Taranaki region. A short drive to the local beach . Waihi Beach is a stunning West coast beach with amazing cliffs ,the wild waves , the fascinating stoney beach and the black iron sand

Handy, clean & affordable

Did not inconvenience us but, the fridge didnt close because it had iced up. Also the small oven tray had tin foil on it. I used oven. After, ireoved foul and there was pastry stuck to the tray. It could easily have been removed. I left it soaking in the sink. Otherwise, lovely clean venue.

Close to town yet quiet

A good overnight stay.

Room was great! Lots of room and very clean. I didn't feel that we were welcomed well, and nobody was there when we dropped the key off. The motel isn't particularly accessible to restaurants etc, you need to drive. Lots of things to see in the area and close to New Plymouth.

Liked location, ease of booking, friendly staff, very well stocked kitchen equip, variety teas and coffee supplied, sunny room, Comfortable bed and blanket, cushions, two comfortable lounge chairs, lovely bathroom with plenty hand, body and hair wash in despenses, super clean. TV a litte small to see for those with poor vision..

Fabulous quiet room, even though we were in a room close to the entrance. It was very well equip, even including Iron, zip frypan and toaster oven! Highly recommend.
