So disappointing I left after one night. A small, cramped room (with 2 beds and no space to walk), creaky beds, outdated decor, the most basic of equipment- and a supposedly continental breakfast which was laughable. The bed was old and creaky, and the room was noisy. It’d be hard to imagine a more depressing night...

Don't stay on the first floor in room 101 or 102. You can hear everything from the buzzer for the front door to the clerk typing on their keyboard. Other than that, excellent.

Awful experience, the only good about the hotel was the morning staff they were very friendly and nice. However my husband and I arrived in different flights, and there was a problem with the reservation and they didn’t let us in until he arrived almost two hours later, my six years old kid was so sleepy and they didn’t even care about him. It was awful! the night person accused us that we would leave the hotel without paying, when the payment and the reservation was already done, it was awful experience! He was so mean, I don’t understand how I do not understand how he could not think about the kid! And that is not all The mattress has ticks! They changed our room but the damage was done, they told us that this happened before on the same room!

The hotel is in a pretty good location in relation to the city centre and China town. The main drawback is the size of the single rooms which were pretty small.

Far from luxurious, the staff was helpful and polite and the location within walking distance of central daytime San Jose stuff, but that also put it in an iffy neighborhood, that I really didn't feel comfortable about walking around late after dark. No elevator, so I had a third floor walk up of possible 4, even though I had requested the lowest possible floor, having mucho luggage and senior citizen years. In small room, at least the wi-fi worked well, tv, bathroom and firm bed, okay.

Located in the Centre of San Jose, this hotel is within walking distance of museums, shopping, and the National artisans market (accross the street ). Convenient and very pleasant staff. Ask for a room at the back on first floor-you will be more comfortable. Staff is lovely. Continental breakfast is yogurt, fruit in bowls, white bread toasted with margarine and jam provided in packages, and one slice each of processed cheese and ham.

Horrible place. Very noisy room, service nonexistent, TV remote did not work on a very small TV, safe did not work, bathroom sink had hair in it from previous guests and had not seen Ajax in ages. The room had a musty smell to it. For the same price or a little more you can find a better place. The only thing positiv was the location, very central.

The hotel was comfortable but dated. We had asked for a joint family room as we had a 5 yr old and my elderly parents with health problems with us. We were placed on the top floor in separate rooms with no elevator. The advertised price of the room on expedia was $73.80 TAXES INCLUDED. $73.80 to be collected by the hotel.Instead the hotel insisted on collecting $83.90 stating that taxes were not included. Someone had it wrong here! My itinerary clearly stated quadruple room 2 double beds for $73.80 taxes included instead I was placed in the attic room with low ceilings and difficult access for my elderly physically impaired parents. Happy that I booked with expedia as they credited my account $25 for the inconvenience.

The Hotel is located in a unsafe place in the city, when we arrived to the hotel, the receptionist did not find our reservation, and he blamed to expedia about the mistake... we were so tired after a long trip and we had to wait at the lobby, The receptionist was incredible rude, we beg him for a close room and big, because we had a lot of luggages and we were with a baby, he gave us a room in the last floor, and the hotel doesnt have an elevator or assistant hotel, even our friends were there, the receptionist didn´t accept to them to enter to the hotel in order to help us UNBELIEVABLE!!!... we had to climb the stairs by ourselves... The room was terrible small, no place for anything just for walk and sleep, old beds and tv, the bathroon small and no windows, smelly, No air conditioner and fan broken. Poor breakfast... The worst thing was when we paid, they invented many other taxes that was not in the reservation, and they said that expedia.com does a wrong reservation... realy horible experience!!!!
