Room is clean, breakfast is extremely simple, we arrived about 2 hours early, the host let us check in, but, charged us $10 fee, since we paid that $10 fee with credit card, that $10 translated to $12. First time get charged early check in… I guess it’s the way it operated here.

Very conveniently located - 3min walk to downtown; surrounded by very good restaurants. Hotel is overall very clean.. had clean bed, clean and comfy pillow. Got a room with balcony - room came with locker, tiny fridge, sink. Just felt like room could use little brighter lights. Bathrooms are clean with clean towels. You can get all the activity and attractions booked from the front desk and they have very good discount. Gigi at the front desk was so helpful! Has lots of patience and always with a sweet smile on her face. She helped us book all the activities. They offer breakfast for $8 (as of Jan 2026) - people seemed to enjoy it; we just decided to explore restaurants around us and skipped hotel breakfast. Hotel offers motorbike rental. Downstairs there is a massage (not owned by hotel) - it was soo convenient and reasonably priced - had best massage in my life. Very professional!! I had exfoliation and massage everyday for the 3 days we stayed :). After all day hiking it was a blessing - must try!!

This is the second time we stayed here. This time we had room 9 and everything was in good working condition.

We stayed in Room 1. The room was not in good condition. Tape was broke and the toilet leaked

Room was upstairs (no elevator). No hot water, no ice. On main strip with motorcycles and trucks going by ALL night. Didn't sleep for 2 nights. Asked for refund on second night so I could go to a nice hotel, they said no. Breakfast is toast, jelly and liquid yogurt and a container with very little fruit, 2 cereals to choose from... nothing hot! It was a joke. It's a hostel also...I think that was nicer than the hotel. Not a very nice area of town.

Basic continental breakfast was offered. Rooms were pretty spacious and clean. Location is excellent and in close proximity to so many restaurants. Only downside is that this hotel is not stroller or wheelchair accessible.

We stayed in a double room with two beds and private bath, as opposed to the hostel section of the hotel which catered towards backpacker type travellers. The room was simple and very clean, comfortable and not fancy. Nice hot water for our morning showers and an easily controlled heat pump unit on the wall. The staff was very friendly, especially Kevin, the weekend desk manager. The hotel is on the main route through town, so we heard a lot of street noise. We had a private balcony, and also sat in the front patio to enjoy our breakfast. They had fresh delicious fruits, yogurt, cheese, toast, cereal, and the like. It was easy to fill up on food we enjoyed.

great location. Room was decent. For the price it was goid Staff was friendly. One of my biggest problems was the lighting was horrible. You could harly see even when the lights were one. Ans no windows to outside so was dark to get ready even in the mornings

Bella propiedad con balcón y vistas lindísimas del volcán. A distancia del parque la Fortuna y restaurantes. Muy limpio y bien mantenido. Desayuno muy limitado por el precio pero todo el resto estuvo excelente.

Great location. The staff working there is SO nice, and one of the ladies was patient and helped me practice my Spanish. The size of the room was good, however the refrigerator smelled very bad so I did not want to use it, therefore I could not bring takeaway food or leftovers back to my room. The water was only warm, and I had a top level room so I could hear the pigeons above my head moving around all day. I was also woken up when it started raining very hard.
