The best thing were the Owners, very lovely and helpful. Room was fine, maybe not as big as we have been used to. Breakfast excellent.

Stayed here for 2 nights and wished we could have stayed longer . I have never stayed in a place like this , so clean , lovely big pool, the 2 ladies were fantastic hosts. They arranged a restaurant and taxi for us as they knew we were arriving late afternoon and that I had limited mobility due to a broken foot. If I am ever back in the region I would definitely stay at Double Dutch again. We stayed in one of the cottages that had fantastic views , massive bed , large bathroom . The breakfast was fantastic

We had the most amazing stay at Double Dutch. Kate & Nathalie are incredible hosts and have created a truly wonderful B&B. They gave us so much information about the area, things to do and restaurants to visit - and made reservations for us (and all the recommendations were great!) They so kindly upgraded us to a better room than we had booked, which was nestled in the beautiful gardens and had incredible views over the town. The location of the B&B is great - a short drive/10 min into town and easy to reach from the main roads. It was probably a little further out of town than we would have liked, given that we were planning on walking everywhere. It was fine during the day, but a bit of a trickier walk at night time. This didn’t cause too much of a problem though, and you could easily get a taxi instead of walking. Thank you so much Kate & Nathalie for welcoming us and making us feel so at home. We felt like old friend by the time we left and will definitely return if we visit Knysna again in future!

Amazing, very up-market guest house with fabulous view, brilliant people, welcoming bottle of wine and nice nibbles. Everything was a cut a cut above the norm - Quality fittings and fixtures, own balcony, great breakfasts.

Absolutely the highlight of our honeymoon. The two ladies running the guest house are the most amazing people ever. They are so knowledgable about the area and suggested so much for us to do that we simply must come back. The rooms were gorgeous. Our patio overlooked the Knysna heads . The rooms are very spacious and have tons of amenities too. Breakfast was fantastic - loved the waffles! We were very sad to be leaving.

Nathalie and Kate are amazing hosts! We had a really happy time here. A great laugh and the views from the room were spectacular! Breakfast was a delight with "speciality themed" breakfasts served to discerning guests. Boiled eggs will never be the same again! :)

This bed and breakfast is well located, well designed and tastefully decorated. Our room had a magnificent, uninterrupted view of the Knysna Heads. Kate and Nathalie, the owners, were friendly, attentive and offered help with our every need, no matter how minor. When we left after a two- day stay, we felt were bidding farewell to two good friends. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

This is a really lovely place to stay in Knysna. It a quiet area, but only a few minutes walk to the shops, restaurants and marina. But the best thing has to be the wonderful owners who look after you from the second you arrive. Great breakfast, great views, beautiful big bedroom, lovely swimming pool and grounds.

The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the B&B. Knysna is the nicest town we visited on our Garden Route trip. Fantastic vies from the breakfast room. The owners recommended the Olive Tree for dinner and we can also recommend it.

We were given an upgrade on the room we had originally booked, and so had a delightful view. Kate and Nathalie did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, and when we left, it was like leaving friends.

We had a great 2 night stay here just after Easter 2014! Rooms are really nice and spacious, and waffles at breakfast are delicious. The owners looked after us well, and helped us with plans for a rainy day! We recommend Double Dutch for everyone travelling the Garden Route - it's a real gem!

It is no surprise that Double Dutch B&B is #1 on TripAdvisor! Kate and Natalie are superb hosts and the B&B is perfectly appointed with everything you could possibly need. It also has a breathtaking view of Knysna Heads, a lovely pool, and a delicious breakfast. Kate and Natalie gave us perfect recommendations for our days in Knysna and were always happy to chat with us during breakfast. They are quite possibly the best B&B hosts we have ever encountered! Highly recommend!!

I don't normally write reviews. However, the stay at Double dutch was fantastic. Everything was prefect. They got us reservations at the best restaurants in town. Not to mention their morning breakfasts. The rooms, location, cleanliness were all top notch. Would stay there again in a heatbeat.

From the moment we met Nathalie and Kate we knew we had found a winning combo! The welcome was friendly and genuine, the room and view stupendous and the breakfast room and pool setting wonderful. Lots of little extras, great recommendations and advice on sights to see and enjoy made our visit to Double Dutch one to remember.
