Outstanding service and staff

Large family room. Could do with a bit of attention to detail cleaning wise. Otherwise good value for money. Friendly, helpful staff.

The room was clean easy access to the beach just had to walk through the garden . Staff were very friendly .

Room was ok. Bed clean and comfortable. Bath/shower need replacing as shower is unusable. Staff were nice and polite. We left a day early as food was shocking. Apparently they had an agency chef, clearly needs some training as potatoes weren’t cooked. Half the items on menu were unavailable and menu also listed mushy peas with the fish and chips but we got garden peas as no mushy peas available and we do not eat garden peas but we’re not told this before we ordered. Hotel is in nice location but wouldn’t stay there again.

The property was much improved from the last time we stayed 3 years ago, decoration and repair wise. The garden was absolutely lovely and well kept. Ideal for walking the dog around. There was more staff who were excellent in every way. The parking was easy and convenient right outside the property.

I had the best stay it was for my 60th the room with a view was just what i asked for and most importantly it had a bath the staff were lovely and my room was spotless ill definitely be going back

Fantastic stay at The Cliffden. Staff there are amazing, very helpful, special thank you to Nicole for always going the extra mile! The gardens are beautiful, leading straight to the beach. All round thank you for making our stay very special.

everything great but looking to have a swim in pool but closed the 2 days there not good,food good breakfast room good ,shower we had trouble with just bad designed bath and shower room,,getting in to bath and shower,,,just missed the pool whole reason for booking this place

All staff were very accommodating & friendly. Allowed us to store some bits in a fridge overnight & adapted to our needs at breakfast without fuss. The room we had was clean, tidy and plenty spacious with comfy bed &

Lovely stay and great for dogs

Carpet in room had quite a lot of dog hair on it, there was no mention when booking that dogs are allowed in all rooms. Reception staff and barman lovely as was the chef but the staff doing breakfast could do with a little more training

This is a welcoming place to stay with friendly attentive staff. The gardens and grounds of the hotel are attractive and afford a pleasant walk down to the beach and Teignmouth town centre. It was useful to enjoy a tasty meal on the first night of my stay and the buffet breakfast was generally good although it can be busy at times. Overall the stay was pretty good value for money with the room and facilities being spacious and warm.

Staff were excellent nothing was to much trouble and they are a credit to the business. The room was clean and satisfactory. Breakfast was brilliant with a good choice to choose from! Stated for a weekend break and enjoyed our stay!
