We are well-seasoned travelers who have stayed in hotels across Eastern and Western Europe, Asia, and North America, and we booked this property because of its high ratings. Unfortunately, our experience was nothing close to what we expected. From the start, there were multiple maintenance and service issues that should never occur at a properly managed hotel. The most serious issue was our room door lock, which was not functioning properly and remained unresolved for two nights despite repeated reports to staff. We were essentially told not to worry because there was “lots of security nearby,” which is not an acceptable response when a guest room cannot be properly secured. The issue was only finally fixed after the owner personally became involved. The handheld shower fixture was also broken off the wall when we arrived. We reported it immediately, but it was not repaired until the second day, and only after we pushed the issue further. Even then, it was a temporary repair that failed a day later. The refrigerator in the room was not working as well. To their credit, this was replaced the same day we reported it. The final disappointment was housekeeping standards. Their written policy is that bed linens are changed every three nights, yet this was not done according to their own stated policy. When we brought it to staff’s attention, the response was simply, “Okay, we will change it tomorrow.” even though it was mid-day with housekeeping still on site. What frustrated us m

Air conditioning was not working properly at all. The toilet was making noise all night.

This hotel is perfect for a weekend in Belgrade. Very continently located and only a 20 minute ride from the airport. Price is great as well.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. The room was a bit on the small side, but we spent most of our time outside anyway. The bathroom was spacios and clean. I would stay here again.

the hotel is on the top levels of a building only. The location is really good: right next to tourist-oriented walking streets with hundreds of cafes etc. BUT the rooms are really not well-kept: our room had stucco and paint FALLING OFF under the window, the shower was half-broken (pipe not secured, so it was shaking when on), and leaking. The drainage in the shower was bad so when you showered, the bathroom floor FLOODED :))) So even though the hotel looks renovated, I am not sure WHO renovated it - not sure that whoever did it, knows the building norms/codes because it's scarily bad work. In short: next time if we go to Belgrade, we wont book it.

The hotel entry is within a pedestrianized street. Was granted an early checkin. Wifi was strong. Hot water and shower were good. Easy access to Belgrade's commercial pedestrian zones and Republic Square. Large mult-story parking garage required some patience due to its heavy use; you may need to wait to gain entry to garage and the charge is €12.50 per day.

Excellecent central hotel. Boheme area east and river west tesla museum and Sveti Sava South easy. Great showers. The guy of reception is the best.

There was a lingering smell of smoking and unpleasant odors emanating from the bathroom for the first day.

This was a very central hotel. Smart room with all you need. We had a corner room facing the side street. Nice toiletries included. The hotel has a small lobby with 24 hour helpful staff. The breakfast we found good value with a small selection of hot and cold dishes and plenty of tea coffee and juice. Not the fanciest but these are not the fanciest prices for a very central location. I have somewhat impared mobility but I found it walkable to the main sites and republic square. We would recommend this hotel as very good value for money in this city location.

Marshall Hotel is highly recommended. I stayed here multiple times.
