Great location and staff. Downstairs was neat and historic. Breakfast and snacks v good. Bedroom and bathroom could use update to be on par with cool decor downstairs and price.

The location, staff and the room were all amazing. It is an old building but everything is super clean. Will be staying here again

This is an incredible inn with an amazing staff and so many special touches. Wassail available, a fire in the parlor, a bar with awesome cocktails, a jar of cookies, the best breakfast ever, plush robes and fabulous people who treat you like family. So glad I booked my Vermont stay here! I couldn’t have asked for more.

Overall great stay and very convenient location.

Old and kept somewhat okay. Not as clean in the room and bathroom as it could/should be. Walls are thin. Could hear the entire conversation of the people next door.

Well kept “antique “ property. Spacious room with excellent, comfortable bed. Room was very cold, even with mini-split running. Every breakfast was delicious. There was a great selection and everything was well prepared. The staff is top quality. They are helpful and always pleasant.

Great check-in experience! The hospitality of the staff was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. It was so good that we’d gladly return just for the breakfast, even if we had to pay for it.

Beautiful property, convenient to walk to shops and restaurants. Every employee we encountered was wonderful and friendly. We enjoyed sitting in the community sitting room with a nice fireplace. The lobby has a list of local restaurants that are open each day as well as local events. Had a delicious cocktail in the on site pub. Breakfast is included and was amazing! Fresh fruit, yogurt parfaits, overnight oats and the choice of 5 hot entrees cooked to order-and it was so yummy! We will be back for sure

The cooked breakfasts were excellent and it was walking distance to the centre of the old district with multiple restaurant options. Rooms are well maintained given the building dates from the 1820s. Some creaking floors and missing some of the mod cons but lots of character and history. Staff very helpful in recommending places to eat at and things to see.
