Clean great staff friendly

Tru made Easter Weekend very comfortable. The breakfast was good and always full. Tru is located in one of the best sections of town with lots of shopping, dining options, easy parking, safe and quiet. Thanks for what you do to make your guest comfortable.

Noisy people on floor, room had tile floors. If you dropped something it was loud. Trouble with hooking up electronic to tv, desk had ya call a 1800 customer service person. Noisy guest in lobby during breakfast police were called. An hour later she’s still in parking lot with cops screaming. Room gave you a claustrophobic feel.

Really like this hotel. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Complimentary breakfast is really good too!

At first glance the hotel is bright and lively. The exterior and interior was decorated in bright, modern colors and accessories. The beds were super comfortable. The shower had great pressure, the towels were so soft! And the soaps provided were delicious! They were moisturizing and smelled amazing.

I didnt stay, i trued canceling this a number of times. The hotel told me they would, but it had to be done through Expedia. I still have not heard back

Took 35 minutes to check in and the guy had no clue what he was doing

Room TV didn’t work. Staff had to come fix it. Then remote quit. No Kleenex in room. Only two towels BTN channel on TV not available when it’s 2 miles away from the University of Iowa. Unacceptable

Property is outdated. Blind from Room 225 was torn. Comforter had odor. surrounding area felt unsafe. Staff at front desk was not courteous at checkout. Expected more from a Hilton

Very clean property and there is always fresh coffee in the lobby

Never had a bad experience with a Tru stay. The only problem was that the construction workers who stayed at the hotel would start and warm up their trucks early in the morning (4 AM ) which woke us . I guess that wasn’t the hotels fault.

Close to shopping and many dining choices. Good environment and many breakfast options.

The pillow cases smelled used, not bad really but for sure not clean. Everything else was great
