I had a great stay at the pousada! Check in was easy. I missed my flight from Sao Luiz and ended up getting driven there. I didn't arrive until after 9p. Right away I was able to check-in & book tours to Lencois Maranhenses for the next morning with the front desk. The front desk is so helpful with everything and were all so sweet. The room was simple but a clean, quiet place to lay your head with everything in working order. The breakfast is also simple but it was great to have that available before the start of my journey filled days. The river is a 2 min walk with a restaurant at the end of the street. Also it's less than a 10 min walk the opposite direction to the boardwalk. You'll find drugstores, shops, and restaurants along the way. I truly had an enjoyable, easy going stay there. Great location, great service, and would recommend!

The location of the hotel is excellent, close to restaurants and transportation. 10 minutes walk from the hotel to the city. The breakfast buffet is very good. The hotel provides good services such as trips to the lagoons and transfer to the airport which makes it very convenient. The only negative thing was the room. It is small and it had a window with no view we kept the window closed the whole time because all you can see is a wall.

Excellent service, the lady at the front desk (I think is the owner or the manager) was super helpful and nice. Good breakfast, decent rooms. According what i saw in Barreirinhas, this pousada is an excellent option to stay. They arrange tours to Lencois Maranhense for me and my wife, and everything was excellent.

Well kept, well run Pousada in Barreirinhas Quiet place, yet downtown with all its shops and restaurants is easily reached on food.

Super value, easy to get tour pickup, breakfast was great, room was clean and neat.

Terrible hotel. Firstly DO NOT BOOK ANY TOURS WITH THIS HOTEL. They are utterly useless. I booked a tour for 2pm the next day they told me it was all booked. I arrived for my tour they said it was cancelled but they had All day to tell me this and did not even bother. Also I got my laundry done here and my clothes came back more stained than when I put them in. They have ruined half of my clothes. No apology. They offered to rewash them and it didn't get all the stains out. Useless hotel. Awful staff. Lazy people. Nobody speak any English. Don't stay here. Stay elsewhere.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience here. It is clean, in a safe area and the breakfast buffet is fantastic (they will make tapioca and eggs to order plus the buffet). Our room was so well serviced each day. AC worked great. And the biggest benefit of the Pousada is the owner. I can't remember her name but she is fantastic. She will organize trips for you to go into the Lencois for no extra fee. It's like having a free travel agent. One night she arranged a car to take us to a restaurant across town. Also, REALLY IMPORTANT, you can arrange for a private driver to take you between Barreirinhas and Sao Luis for 70 reais. It will be a private car, can pick you up whenever you want. Takes about 4hrs including a rest stop. We did this coming back and it was amazing. Going we did the normal transfer van which leaves at a few specific times of the day and will wait to fill up before leaving. Our transfer van getting to Barreirihas took 8hrs!!! They will wait until it's full despite what they tell you!!! Anyway, we were really grateful to the owner lady bc she saved us a lot of time and hassle booking tours and transfers.

Eu adorei a pousada, apesar de ter ficado somente de um dia para outro foi uma grata surpresa! Todos muito receptivos, quarto limpo e de bom tamanho, café simples mas muito bem feito, música ao vivo de manhã, além de um jardim super bem cuidado! Eles deixam vc tomar banho após o passeio antes de ir embora mesmo após a diária ter acabado! Super indico!

Adorei a pousada mto organizada, limpa e tem um jardim maravilhoso. Pessoal educado. Preço bom e ótima localização, cinco minutos do 'centro'. Quanto ao café da manhã fui em outubro fora de temporada e achei que faltou mais variedade de bolos roscas e pães.

Ambiente limpo, café da manhã bem servido,bem localizado,próximo do centro onde facilitou sair para jantar a beira do rio Preguiças que por sinal é uma beleza a parte na cidade. Recomendo a estadia.
