I've stayed here many many times, even though they have a new owner, everything is still excellent

Good place.

Door was locked and code given for lock was incorrect. Had to wait for help Sink was leaking and carpet was getting wet so we placed trash can underneath leak Dirty windows and little pond out front

Cute, local convenient place to stay when in the heart of the Adirondacks!! Have stayed here several times, dating back to 2003, and will continue to stay here when we are in the area for the night!!

Convenient and cheaper alternative to Lake Placid. The 2-bedroom suite (Room 18) worked great for 2 fathers/sons. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet, especially being on the non-road side of the building. Great shower! Would stay there again.

I feel the star ratings don't say everything about this suite, so here are my thoughts... I was in room 5. Good condition, very clean. Too basic. One small picture in an otherwise bright stark white room made it feel like a very uninviting setting when we opened the door. We only stayed for 1 night, otherwise the lack of a dresser would have upset me. Shower controls that spin past off and then turn the water back on are seriously annoying - every hotel/motel/inn should have a single control shower for simplicity. I would also get wider and longer curtains over the window to block the outside light better But again - clean, convenient, and safe if you need a place to stay.

Fantastic old school motel updated with modern conveniences. Everything was clean, sheets were fresh and the log cabin furniture fit the vibe. Self check-in was easy and hassle free. Only negative about the stay was the lack of hot water but it was far outweighed by the rest of the experience.

Nice clean basic hotel in a great location. Check in and out was very convenient and the team there was very responsive and communication was great. The room was clean and well maintained and despite heavy snow that week the parking lot was well maintained and access to the rooms was clear and safe at all times.

Convienint to what we were doing such as lake placid, saranac and paul smiths college

We were there for a hockey tournament and it was a nice quiet stay. Able to rest in between and not a far drive to things.

Everything was very nice, clean and comfortable.

I like snow. It is nice place for snowboarding.

Stop over on drive out to family. Needed motel so load/unload would be quick.

We enjoyed our time at Sara Placid Inn. Our room was clean and updated with a great television, smart thermostat, and smart lock. The amenities in the room were great. The shower took a little fussing to get the hot and cold balanced, but that was a minor thing that didn't detract. Big shoutout to the staff for helping us with changing the bedding after a kiddo's accident.

I enjoyed sitting out on the gazebo outside. The room had everything I needed, including a refrigerator and coffee pot. The staff was responsive via messaging. I did not meet them in person. They had a self check-in option.
