Noisy on Saturday night

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a really enjoyable stay at the Townhouse Boutique Hotel in Barrow-in-Furness. The hotel offers fantastic value for money, and the room was spotless, comfortable, and finished to a high standard. It had everything I needed for a relaxing break. What really stood out was the customer service. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and nothing seemed too much trouble. A special thank you to Matt, the Manager, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during my stay. His friendly approach, professionalism, and willingness to help genuinely made a difference and added a personal touch that you don't always find these days. Overall, a great hotel with excellent service, comfortable rooms, and outstanding value. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The Townhouse Hotel is a lovely hotel. The downside was the fact that in our room (Bedroom 1) it was very noisy from the bar downstairs...so much so that we could not get to sleep until the bar had actually closed.

Booked through this site. However, the hotel didnt have the booking and had no spare rooms. A poor experience

Great rooms, amazing food, couldn’t fault it

We had a great time 2nd time here we had the rooms with the jacuzzi bath absolutely loved Nice staff clean room nice food good entertainment and drinks wasn’t overly expensive either

We stay here when we visit family and always chose the spa bath rooms, we love the room and it’s clean, warm, well equipped and very comfortable. The only negative we found this time was the room has started to look in need of a refresh. The walls are marked, there was damage to the mirror, canvas, frame on bathroom window. This is no reflection on the hotel it’s clearly been disrespectful customers but it does spoil the room a little as it’s always been immaculate. We will still be back as always.

After a full day at work & a long drive , to be met by a very sullen staff member checking me in was , to put it mildly rather disappointing. He reluctantly helped me upstairs with my luggage . Horrid view from my bedroom window , ridiculously small sized washbasin, shower door didn’t close properly . Work I stay here again ? …. No !

Continuous issues with the key card alarming, hours of noise. This led to an electrician being called, after I had to shower, wash, and get dressed in the dark because they isolated the Breaker to the lights as this stopped the noise. Not ideal, when I'm up at 0500 for work.

Always my go to stay now when visiting family - always a spa bath room

Rooms are good for what they are, but the temperature of the rooms are ridiculous! I stayed in November, i have both windows open, two fans on and i still woke up and thermostat said it was 28 degrees. Did not sleep at all and checked out early.

Room smelt heavily of cigarette smoke with a window that barely opened. Over 70 stairs to my room with no lift, no fun with my disability.
