It was a great stay!

We had a great time at the hotel, everything was perfect, the room was so cute and clean, loved the decorations, enjoyed the delicious breakfast in the beatiful garden and the afternoon tea. Easy walk to downtown, staff was very friendly.

Very charming boutique hotel with excellent breakfast. Front desk employees speak excellent English and were very helpful and accommodating. Location can't be better, right next to the old town but quiet. Very clean rooms and facilities. Afternoon tea time and cake.

This is a small, well-maintained hotel with a warm, homey atmosphere. It’s conveniently located near the historic district and shopping areas. The staff are incredibly friendly and eager to help. Rooms are spacious, spotless, and very comfortable—an ideal place to relax after a day of exploring.

Our stay at Carpe Diem was awesome, the attention and service are top notch. I loved the space and calm atmosphere, it was my first time in Paraty and the location of the hotel is excellent! Thank you for the hospitality, next time in Paraty I’m staying with you again

Lovely garden and outdoor spaces. Although our arrival, after 8pm, was complicated as the reception closes after 8, overall very good stay. Excellent breakfast. The tea and cake in the afternoon is a really nice touch. Only point worth noting is that a number of rooms give onto internal corridors and have limited natural light. Also, facilities in the room were a little basic (no chair, only one lamp for two bed side tables, and no hook to hang towels in the bathroom).

Incredible place, the staff is incredible! Such a beautiful and peaceful hotel, the breakfast is to die for, I’m Brazilian and been living abroad for so long, it felt like home. I’ll definitely be back!

This hotel is a dream. With a darling aesthetic and plenty of nooks on the property, it was the perfect reprise from the busier historic center. Breakfast was exceptional, and the room was very comfortable. Highly recommend.

I’ll start by saying i had a private shared transfer booked to Paraty that never picked me up or answered so i ended up taking the regular bus which was super convenient, inexpensive and comfy (and most likely a much better experience than what i initially had booked). I had booked the transfer super early so that i can have a full day in Paraty but god had other plans for me. I must say if i hadn’t had the pre booked reservation at this property i would have probably canceled my trip to Paraty but luckily everything worked out. I arrived at the property by the evening and was greeted with a warm welcome by Renata, such a lovely person(just like everyone on this property). The space is beautiful and so peaceful, made me disconnect and really take time to myself. I had an economy double room which was lovely, cozy and sooo comfy. The breakfast and snacks for coffee/tea time was amazing, everything was soo delicious. Renata and Camille both helped me book excursions and answered any questions i had throughout my stay. They have a space to hold your luggage after checkout so that you can go about your day on the town, they also have a bathroom where you can freshen up when you are ready to leave. I initially booked for two nights and ended up extending one more night. I hope to one day revisit this place, everyone is just soo nice 🥹❤️

Everything was amazing. Breakfast is much better than the pictures show... the structure was clean and organized...staff was excellent and they have good english. The Tea time was a good surprise.

Close to old town without being in the middle of a noisy area. Lovely rooms and wonderful breakfast and afternoon coffee cake time
