Fantastic sized rooms & lively atmosphere in the pub downstairs

Breakfast area is spacious and very clean. Buffet is splendid, and they offer additional hot servings. Staff is most welcoming, attentive, and helpful throughout the hotel.

The room was spotless, although a little tired in some places considering the prices charged for rooms. However, apart from that, everything about the hotel is excellent. The food in the restaurant and the breakfast is exceptional, and the staff top it off. The bar has an amazing choice of drinks also. A great place for a night away!

A tremendous stop over on our way to Islay - really enjoyed the pub/accommodation mix. Charming, clean and very comfortable.

Food was delicious for breakfast and Dinner. Staff is very nice and helpful. Building is beautiful. Conveniently located near Inverness Castle.

We had a wonderful stay at the George. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bar is charming and welcoming. We were in a room in the First House which was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and the bath in the room added to the charm. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice of cooked options. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice hotel. Good food and great atmosphere. Rooms very large and go with the historic feel of the hotel / pub We were very lucky to be their on a Friday night as they had an amazing live singer who kept us entertained all night (along with the locals as well)

Everything was perfect . Rooms are all a great size , dinner was lovely and breakfast was plentiful . Band were fab 👌 Thankyou to everyone at the George Hotel

This is a wee gem of an Hotel …. Everything from start to finish was just perfect …. The Staff, The Room, the food …all brilliant …washed down with some excellent music from Mic ! Thank you for a wonderful stay !

This is a lovely family run hotel, serving wonderful breakfast and excellent meals throughout the day. The rooms are luxurious and the staff very attentive. A special mention has to go to Ann who looked after us so well from checking in to overseeing our breakfasts. Thank you Ann.

everything about the food staff room etc was very good the only complaint I had was that the live music started very late (around 21 45) which is fine if you are a local and start your evening late but not so much if you have been travelling are older and don't stay up till the wee hours !

Room was very spacious and comfortable. We ate at the hotel every night of our stay, the food was top notch and all the staff were friendly and attentive. Couldn’t ask for better. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay in the spacious and elegant Merchant’s Suite, which had a wood stove and a jetted tub. The staff were all very kind and welcoming. We enjoyed all the breakfast options and we had dinner multiple nights in the pub- delicious.
