The hotel staff is friendly and the access is easy from or to Syamsudin Noor Airport.

I stayed here with my family for 3 nights in a standard double room without breakfast. I checked in quite late in the afternoon, and the hotel was busy. However, check-in was easy and fast. For 3 days, I was assigned a corner room on the third floor. So far, it's been fine, but when it rained, we could hear the raindrops on the ceiling, even though we didn't enter the room after checking in. The room facilities functioned normally. And although toiletries and towels were always only refilled once, it was easy to request additional ones (they should have refilled two without asking, especially since my reservation was for 3 people). The pool's cleanliness needs improvement, especially since the tree is so close to the pool, causing a lot of leaves to fall into the pool. On my way home, I booked a car to take me to the airport because my flight was very early. It cost 50,000 Rupiah for my husband and I, but it was free for my child.

Easy and convenient check in

Overall, it was okay to stay here, but the toilet flush was broken, and the hot water in the sink was cloudy. You could pay attention to those facilities.

My staycation at the Novotel Banjarbaru was quite enjoyable. There were no major issues. I only had a few minor complaints: 1. The room was far away and there were stairs, which, with my osteoarthritis, was very inconvenient and painful. 2. The breakfast menu wasn't very varied. 3. The towels were a bit underwhelming. However, the service and hospitality of the staff were excellent. After my complaint, the staff was very helpful, offering to pick me up near my room, which was very helpful.

The reception staff are not professional in serving guests, too stiff

I already knew the distance between the room and the lobby was far, I ordered Shopee food and asked for it to be delivered to my room but the receptionist refused, the room was damp and had lots of leaks and mold, my experience staying there was that I was given the room at the back and it was full of insects too!!!

The room was quite spacious, complete with a sofa, refrigerator, and a large wardrobe. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped, with a hairdryer provided. Breakfast was varied, but the taste could be improved. It said breakfast was ready at 6:00 a.m., but we had to wait a few minutes before the staff opened the restaurant door. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a pleasant experience, and I hope to stay at the Novotel again. Best wishes.
