This hotel has bed bugs in the bed and they bit my thigh, causing it to become swollen and red.

We had an awesome stay at the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is very strategic and just within walking distance to interesting spots. Nice atmosphere and interior and exterior of the hotel. Comfy room.

The room is nice and clean but breakfast was not good: rice of nasi lemak was not well cooked, the papaya was not fresh

It was a cosy and quaint little hotel with and for relaxing ambience. It's located in the midst of walkable heritage attraction sites, with personal and friendly service. Highly recommended to stay again!

The rooms are spacious, clean. The receptionist seemed to be the direct owner in my estimation. He even held up our bags when we checked out. Steady

Clean and chic little hotel. Its location is strategically close to the street art. In the hotel do not use shoes / sandals, kept near the hotel entrance. The lobby with spice aromatherapy makes you relax after a day of outdoor heat. The owner of the hotel is a mother with a friendly little boy. Love this hotel!

A very comfortable hotel with a strategic location. The concept of the hotel is very unique, which combines various spices (as the name implies "spices") into the theme of the hotel. The hotel has two floors, with rooms on the top floor having two more floors in it (so a total of 3 floors). For the room I stayed in had 2 mattresses, 1 single mattress downstairs, with a queen bed upstairs. Cleanliness, comfort, and service are very good. I was even helped to order Penang Hop On-Hop Off tickets when I asked where to buy the tickets. Then, the location of the hotel is also located in a strategic location, which is near Armenian Street, Komtar, Kapitan Keling Mosque, and for Muslims who want to pray in congregation at the mosque, this hotel is also located behind the Malay mosque in Lebuh Aceh. Breakfast is provided not at the hotel, but at the Urban Spices cafe (in a group with the hotel) that can be accessed through the back door of the hotel, with several choices of continental breakfast menus, nasi lemak, and fried rice, with a pretty good taste. Broadly speaking, I highly recommend this hotel for those of you who want a cheap place to stay with good quality.

Good hotel, clean rooms, near the mosque, safe trip alone, do not be afraid. Close to Street Art and the Cube. Walking not far But the last day found a cockroach, but a little shock, but no problem.
