The hotel was nice, but unfortunately the elevator was broken when I stayed so my elderly mother had a bit of difficulty climbing the stairs to the 3rd floor.

It's really cool, even though it's an old hotel, I feel like it's not just a hotel... There are a lot of memories here.

super comfortable...suitable for families and businesses

We had a fantastic 5 night stay complete with dinners in the restaurant, cocktails, massages, gym use, and swimming in the pool. The Phoenix is a beautiful hotel. Lovely, clean, spacious rooms. The staff are all wonderful too. I can't wait to go back!

Very nice hotel... near Malioboro and you can get anywhere easily... very friendly and helpful staff.

My first stay at this hotel. I was thrilled to be given a free upgrade to a suite. It was impressive, comfortable, and artistic, highly recommended. The staff was very understanding and attentive, especially when I asked for an extra 10 minutes to check out because I wanted to pray Dhuhr first. I will definitely be back again ❤️

The staff (supervisor?) in the hotel’s bar is very friendly. He would introduce and explain the local foods.

The staff is friendly and the check-in process is smooth. The room is clean and smells good. Varieties of food during breakfast. Overall is excellent and I will choose this hotel for my next vacation at Yogyakarta.

good point: lokasi oke pas di deket tugu dan keramaian kalau butuh ini itu gampang, bentuk hotel keren model kolonial, makanan enak breakfastnta enak banget bad point: staffnya lemot-lemot dan terkesan lempar tanggung jawab ke temennya, beresin kamar check in ga teliti ada kancut orang ketinggalan -> karena takut masalah keamanan kami minta cek apa ada orang ngumpet / ga di kamar malah kayak lempar tanggung jawab dan ogah2an. Pas cerita ke resepsionis juga kesannya menyalahkan teman dan tamu (mungkin kita orang lokal ya ha ha ha), kamar creepy

A family favorite hotel with a Victorian style feel, but with modern class.

A very good hotel in the middle of town. Breakfast has a lot of variety, near to Malioboro Street. We had a pleasant stay.

Overall, everything is the best, but needs a little bit of improvement regarding the cleanliness of the room floor. It needs to be cleaned in more detail.

For towels, please replace them with new ones. I'm sure they're new and definitely clean, but the color is dull. It's better to just replace them.

Friendly staff, the rooms are not huge but it 's comfy. Breakfast selection was plenty, I especially like the cold pressed juice.
