Awesome, classic, cannot possibly be beat. In Hamilton!

While there, we had a regional, power blackout. Staff was wonderful. Bar was open, so we hung out there. We had dinner in an adjacent city. When we returned, all was OK. We also loved the conversations we overheard which focused on the college. Not why we were there, but it added interest.

Lovely Inn and really the only nice place to stay in Hamilton.

We loved the Inn. Stayed 4 nights and were able to upgrade to a more comfortable room after the first two nights, which was great. The staff were wonderful and the restaurant had delicious food. Very charming place

The room was quite small for two queen beds, which is understandable given the age of the building but still a little disappointing for the price.

The lobby is beautiful and check in staff friendly. The Tavern had character and was fun. The food was nothing special, had to send back undercooked whole mini carrots twice. The menu was also very limited if you have dietary restrictions. The roasted chicken special was delicious. The room was a total disappointment. The bed creaked at any nice, the room was cramped and you nearly had to shimmy sideways to cross the room to a tiny bathroom. The hair drier was broken. I would not stay again or recommend.

Absolutely NOT worth the nightly rate. Carpet on stairs needs a deep clean.

Hotel is a little bit old, but it’s clean. People are nice. Very close to Colgate University.

Staff was excellent. Especially the restaurant wait staff including Romeo. The chef was also extremely accommodating to special request.
