Good staff great food

Staff really friendly, we had a small issue where the room was cold, and without hesitation we had a free upgrade to a larger room, and was really looked after. Will stay there again for sure.

unfortunately the manager was a bit rude and ruined my mother’s birthday cake by not storing properly All other staff were amazing, helpful. Nothing too much trouble and food was also wonderful

Room was clean and comfortable. Evening Meal (March Madness Offer) which was excellent value & very tasty, washed down with quality Real Ale. Finished stay with English Breakfast and filter coffee. All round superb & will be staying again!

Decent breakfast dinner was really good

Bar well stocked, missing was peppermint tea.

I’ve stayed her over 4 years ago on a regularly. I’m glad to say the fantastic food and service hasn’t changed. Unfortunately there is no car park at rear of hotel now seating area.

Yes and asked if i needed help with my things up the stairs

Room was slightly dated and could do with upgrading central heating didn’t work and carpet could do with cleaning

Welcoming staff. Brilliant room. Stayed there twice in a week. Could not have wished for more.

Charming place to stay, outstanding value. The room was spotless and much more than we expected for the price. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't included but was well worth the extra cost. No parking but plenty of available in a car park across the road. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again.

Very nice pub with good value dining and clean functional rooms. Loved that they actually give you enough milk sachets for a few cups of tea!

The hotel is lovely with a very comfy room. The staff were lovely and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant with friends which was fabulous and very reasonably priced. The only issue is lack of a car park but there are some close by and the area is fairly noisy with a delivery at 4.30am right outside the window of our room!!! This was not great but guess the hotel cannot be held responsible for delivery times. Overall a good stay and would come again but just bring ear plugs.

Lovely stay, room great. Very clean, comfortable bed. Breakfast fantastic, reasonable price, lots of choice and good quality produce. Parking very close by.
