Great kitchen for the space. Had everything you would need for a short trip. We ate at the hut both evenings.

Fabulous shepherds hut stay in a very rural/quiet spot. Spotless and very comfortable !. Really comfy bed, compact but well equipped kitchen and dining area. Great bathroom with full size shower and gallons of hot water.

We stayed at this beautiful rural property while visiting family in the area. Helen and her husband, Alex, are amazing hosts. Our cottage suite was oozing with charm, from the beautiful silk drapes, cozy bed coverings and linens to the floral upholstered chairs and make-up table. Breakfast was a real affair, with Helen cooking up full English breakfasts to-order daily. We had a fantastic time and whole-heartedly recomment this wonderful B&B.

Absolutely amazing stay in the Tup shepherd's hut. There was so much care and attention to detail put into everything, it could not have been more perfect. Helen was a fantastic host and gave us all the info we needed and even helped family arrange a surprise for us. We had a beautiful view and even had rabbits outside. Bus from the end of the road was really handy for Bradford on Avon and Bath trips. Couldn't recommend more!

We stayed in one of the Shepherd Hurs The Tup it was fantastic, everything we needed for a relaxing stay

Letting our host know our eta was delayed due to M26, & M25 road traffic, she returned my call en route. Our host met us at her farmhouse (self built/restored, 4th generation farmers), & directed us to unmade roadway into woodland glade containing a single delightful Shepherd's cottage. Demonstrated working induction hobs, along with the underfloor heating (microwave, & fridge present too). Great, hot power shower in bathroom. All as described, enough wood provided for two night's BBQs, & kindling collectable within woodland (also took old newspaper, & BBQ-useful tools from home). Idyllic spot to watch small herd of bullocks, & two sheep through gate into adjacent field of permanent pasture, & listen to bird song. Lovely breakfasts provided to self-cater, including many locally sourced products. Brought most other food in cool boxes with us. However, ventured into Bradford on Avon to explore, & there is a Co-op near the centre, with parking found further away near railway station. We shopped at Sainsbury's a short drive out of town for a BBQ on second night. Lucky with the weather too. There were a few high-flying aircraft. Our purpose was to attend a garden party at University of Bath to celebrate Vice-Chancellor's retirement. We also enjoyed a sung eucharist by the Girl's Choir, & lay clerics at Bath Abbey, & coffee, & delightful savouries at The Pump Rooms, including an iced glass of Bath spar water, listening to accomplished piano playing.

Peaceful and idyllic location. Fantastic hospitality and very comfortable bed.

Booking was cancelled when we arrived but money taken. Landlady very unhelpful only saying it is Expedia"s fault and would not give any information on where we could book nearby. Very rude.

Beautiful, peaceful and convenient location. Spotless, spacious and comfortable accommodation and a wonderful breakfast. Helen is a great host and very welcoming. Definately recommend Great Ashley Farm and hope to return!

Helen and Alex made us feel very welcome. Great Ashley Farm is a beautiful property. We would definitely recommend a stay to family and friends.
