We had a nice stay at this hotel for two nights. Excellent location in the beautiful village. Small tv, wifi didn’t work all the time. We had a rental car, which was useful. Nice and helpful staff.

My only complaint is the bed. It was lumpy. I had an uncomfortable night sleep. The staff is wonderful. Great location too.

Omg it was perfetto!! Wow clean, charming, the staff is amazing, the food is very good and little breakfast too 🤩, nice and very polite and professionnel, they speak italian, English and French , we will definitely go back!! ❤️

In town visiting Barolo producers that we work with in the US. Il Grappolo was clean and comefortable and the view of Monforte from my room was amazing. Breakfast was good and the staff was helpful.

Fantastic staff, delicious breakfast and a really nice property overall. Just wish the church bells stopped in the nighttime.

There is very little by way of flat surfaces in the rooms (and bath), so we had to put a lot of stuff on the floor.

Central location. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Lack of front desk or any other staff was a concern. This was not made clear at the time of booking

Everything was good. Two things could be suggested: air conditioning and proper instructions for off-hours return to rooms by the doors. Thanks.

Was on a trip to wine country. The hotel is in the heart of Monforte d’Alba, in the downtown quad. You could not ask for a better location. Service - very friendly. Allowed me to check in early, helped me bring in heavy luggage. It’s family run and they’re very nice people. Room - smallish but still fine. Very poor noise insulation, and as a result, you hear every person walking in the hallway, as well as hallway conversation, and people walking in a room above you. Bed - small but bearable. Overall, you get value for money, as long as you don’t mind hearing noise from surrounding rooms and hallways. For the price, it’s worth it.

Sentralt hotell med veldig hyggelig betjening. Frokosten var enkel, men god. Flott beliggenhet med tanke på å forflytte seg rundt i Piemonte. Men det er mye støy fra torg og veien som går rett utenfor. Rommene har heller ikke aircondition slik at vinduer må stå oppe. Er nok derfor rommene er utstyrt med ørepropper.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Grappolo and were very satisfied with the overall experience. A special thanks to the receptionist and staff for their exceptional service and hospitality. They went out of their way to help us watch an important football match in the café/lobby area, which we really appreciated. The staff throughout the hotel were warm, friendly, and very helpful during our stay. The breakfast was very good, with a nice selection and a relaxed atmosphere. The location is also excellent — right in the heart of Monforte and perfectly situated for exploring the beautiful Piemonte wine region. Highly recommended, and we would gladly stay here again!
