3 important points: - room not really clean, hair everywhere (bathroom mainly, bed, towels...) - noise lately on the night and early in the morning if you have a lower ground room like me - really convenient location to the subway and not so far from the city center

I travel a room. Booked 2 rooms for not a cheap price of above £100/night. The worst experience. The staff attitude was really bad. I mean really really bad. I have travelled a lot. Mostly, In USA, I have never ever had such a behaviour from staff as at this hotel. It felt like they were doing some favour on me working there. The toilet had no essentials. Not even a hand soap which is so basic. The fire alarm went of in the morning 9am and not a single attendant to work it out. Only a security person who himself was clueless. I am not going to stay there again neither am I going to suggest anyone to stay there. Extremely unfriendly and non-customer oriented staff. No elevator and I had a room at the 4th floor which I could have ignored had everything else gone well. But losing me as a customer was mainly the staff behaviour. Guys! Seriously, avoid this hotel at any price above £25-30. Not worth it at all. Save your money and save yourself pain. I think they are the worst in business just surviving cuz of the London city or else they would be shutdown by now. Overall a worst experience that I would never want to repeat. Usually I do not write a review until something blows mind mind for good or is at its extreme worse as it was at this hotel.

Was staying in The Dome Hyde park for the Nottinghill carnival. Was in a great location, with lots of useful shops around. I came down from Manchester so didn’t advise on expected time of arrival. Rang the numbers on the door and had to wait for someone to check us in. We was in rm 19 which was on 3rd floor but was a beautiful, nice compacted room with everything we needed. Only bad thing was how hot it was. A fan would’ve been great. Also the security man around at night was very friendly and helpful. He is a credit to the company. Will deffo stay here again

Overall it’s a very bad and disappointing experience. First the check in time was 1 hour delayed due to the housekeeping. Secondary, the room was not clean, the toilet was very small and the shower door can’t even be close properly so the floor was all wet ! TV was not working in the room! No washing machine was found inside which can be see in the photos from Expedia! Most importantly, it’s so hot in the room as we could not open the windowsill as the outside was so dirty! Full of bird poo and cigarettes !! it was disgusting! I will not recommend this accommodation to anyone !

The rooms are much smaller than the pictures would have you believe but this is usually the case in London. My mum and I tried to stay in 1 room together and were all on top of each other to the point of annoyance. But once she changed to her own room the size was perfect! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Alicia went above and beyond for us!! My only criticism would have to be that the room was outdated with a broken lamp and dust everywhere, not filthy by any means, but could have been cleaner. I would definitely stay here again!!

The bed was so comfy! The bathroom was tiny, but that was to be expected. Overall, I would recommend this property to anyone staying in London. Great location too!

Would Never stay there again! Room with no ensuite so every time you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night you have to get dressed, walk down a gall and put in a code to use bathroom. Highly INCONVENIENT! "Bed" was nothing more than a crawl space could not even stretch arms without touching ceiling. How it is permissible to call such a place a "room" is inconceivable! Will NEVER return!

The Good (and why I would stay again) - The lady on the desk (Joyce?) was understanding and did her best to help me, eventually upgrading my room as the one I originally wanted was not available. The new mezonet was fantastic: high ceilings, a balcony, stylish glass dining table, en-suite shower room, large, equipped kitchen area. Just wonderful. The Bad - When I got to my 'mezonet twin', I was disappointed to find it was nothing like the photos featured on Hotels.com (I'm a photographer/videographer so scenery matters a great deal as I intended to shoot in the room). The room was much much smaller, a little dirty (large water stains and chipped/peeling paint on the wall under the window, a large stain on the sofa), and the sleeping area upstairs was low enough that I could only crawl into the bed. - There unfortunately was a fire alarm around 4.30am the following morning and there were no staff on site to attend to it. We guests congregated together in the foyer, on the phone to one of the hotel staff members, with myself running to all the checkpoints on each floor to find the source of the alarm, and trying to reset the alarm panel ourselves, to no avail. This went on for a good hour or more, with nobody arriving to attend to it. Note I saw complaints expressing surprise at rooms with shared facilities. The room descriptions clearly state this &facilities are pristine. The negative reviews are unfair.

I stayed in a studio apartment with a bathroom. The apartment was smaller than I was expecting, and was a squeeze for two people with suitcases, it would have been fine for one person. The room was extremely clean and the staff were lovely. Note that there is no lift in this building. Great location near Hyde Park, Bayswater and Queensway tube stations, excellent restaurants nearby. Wifi was fast.

The hotel location is very convenient, in the middle of Baywater and Queensway MRT. We arrived at the hotel around 9am but no one was at the reception, and no one answered the phone, so we had to left our luggages and went out. The washroom is outside the bedroom, it was very small, hard to wash face because the toilet is very close to the basin. On the second day, the toilet cover went lose and was fixed two days later.

A friendly welcome and the hotel is close to Kensington Gardens and a pleasant walk from Hyde Park. No breakfast facilities but our room had a small kitchen. No air conditioning so very hot and the under floor heating in the bathroom was on all the time making it into a small sauna. The bathroom was not en suite so we should have taken a bathrobe and slippers.

Once you get past the disinterested girl on the desk who is constantly texting, you’ll be taken to your very small, incredibly warm room. Nowhere to sit, no air con, no table and a bad up a small ladder. The bed is about 3ft from the ceiling. The room Was old and dirty. The ‘private’ bathroom was on another level and you access using a key code. Without a doubt, THE WORST place I have stayed in London. I almost left in the middle of the night to try and find somewhere else it was that bad.

I was given a small efficiency studio in the basement with poor ventilation and a bathroom that was outside the room and through a door down the hall. Every time I wanted to use it, and it wasn't much bigger than a closit, I had to leave my room, go down the hall and key a code in the handle in the door. It was less than convenient.
