Strategic location and complete hotel facilities for business trips

My weekend staycation at The Jayakarta Suites Bandung turned out to be quite memorable 👍 The location is great, still in the Dago area so everywhere is quite close. One of the most satisfying things is the spacious swimming pool and the cool vibe, suitable for both children and adults. I happened to come on the weekend with 2 children and there was a cake decorating activity for the children, so it was quite fun even though there was an additional fee to join the event 😄 I took an Executive Twin Bed with Breakfast and got a room on the main road side. The room was quite spacious, there was a connecting door and a bonus terrace which is rare to find in hotels with this rate. Another plus point was the bathtub in the bathroom, nowadays it's quite rare to find hotels that still provide bathtub facilities at this price. The toilet is also a new model and the bathroom is quite clean. The TV is not a smart TV yet, but it is still comfortable to use to relax in the room. I think breakfast is quite complete, the choices are quite varied and there are also boiled noodles/fried noodles. For additional children's breakfast there is a separate charge depending on age, from what I received, children over 10 years old start to be charged an additional fee of around Rp110,000 per person. I happened to book for 2 adults + 2 children and at check-in there was no additional charge 👍 The service was also friendly and responsive. Overall, for the price, facilities such as the swimming pool, bathtub, balcony/terrace, and breakfast, I think it's quite worth it and satisfying for a family staycation. Just a few small notes to make it more comfortable in the future. Because it's a typical old hotel, some parts do feel classic. The AC is still an old model but fortunately it's still cool. Because I got a roadside room, the sound of vehicles from outside was still a bit audible. I think the room lighting could be made a little brighter to make the atmosphere feel warmer. The carpet and some interior details could also be refreshed to make the room feel fresher. During the weekend

Very comfortable and clean place

This morning, a man offered to wash my car. I don't know if it's free or not, as the receptionist didn't give me any information. The floor is carpeted, and it smells like old carpet. I think it's better to just use regular flooring. Overall, it's good. Don't forget to add Netflix and a power outlet in the room.

The staff were all very friendly. The only downsides were the lack of Netflix and the difficulty in finding a power outlet. It's best to bring your own combination cable from home. Otherwise, it's fine.

The hotel's location is strategic, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast could be more varied and tasty. Please note that the elevator needs to be repaired; it's been intermittently malfunctioning, and then intermittently malfunctioning, likely due to its age. Otherwise, everything is fine. Thank you.

It's an old hotel with quite a nice view outside, I liked it. There are swimming pools and a kid's playground.

The staff was very friendly, the view from the room was great. The room was very spacious. The bathroom had a very nice bathtub.

The staffs were very slow in response. Even when I try to call the receptionist or room service, no one accepts the call. The security is also lax and slow in response. When my phone was left behind in my taxi, the security wouldn't help chase that taxi again. I alone had to run in the middle of the rain to chase the taxi, therefore making me have a cold afterwards. Please educate your hotel staffs more. Thanks

A great place for a vacation, close to everything around town. The rooms, though dated, are well-maintained. The bathtub is clean, the shower is powerful, and the hot water is instant. The air conditioning, though old, is still cool. If you're a non-smoker, you might want to reconsider your stay here, as you might encounter smokers in the hallways and pool area, although non-smoking rooms can be requested.
