This is a beautiful, old-fashioned hotel, Victorian in style. There's a wrap around porch, a sitting area in the front, and we had our own private little balcony. They sell fudge at the desk, there's an espresso bar in the front, and there are fresh chocolate chip cookies every night. They serve a continental breakfast, which was plenty for us, with oatmeal, yogurt, boiled eggs, bagels, muffins, and cereal, plus assorted juices and coffees. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful but small, not a lot of room for the luggage. There was a closet, but it was very close to the bed. No refrigerator or microwave like most modern hotels, but we did okay without. The television didn't seem to work very well, not very many channels.The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the little balcony, but we did have trouble trying to charge our phones because the outlets wouldn't hold the plugs very well, plus there weren't many outlets at all. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we truly enjoyed our stay.

I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered travel insurance and they will not reimburse. I had a car accident and an MRI the day of check-in and could not get to the island. They refused to assist me as a customer. The staff were extremely rude over the phone And when I continue to explain my situation, they hung up and said, you did not order the hotel through us ordered it through Expedia that’s their problem.

Great location-a few blocks, easy walk from ferry. It’s just a couple blocks away from busier area so nice and quiet. Loved the front balcony with seating! Breakfast included was great.

We had a great stay and will be back.

Great hotel with breakfast option in convenient location.

The property is conveniently located near Main Street district, and it is an easy walk from the docks to the Inn. The front porch is an added benefit to sit and enjoy breakfast or just people watch. Good view of the boat slips as well.

Great place but need to improve internet….can’t work from hotel internet unstable and TV limited bad picture no streaming and few channels

Very nice place for your stay on Mackinac. It’s just outside of the busyness of Main Street, but close enough to walk.

We had a wonderful time at the Inn on Mackinac. The location was wonderful, the staff were wonderful. It was very clean. The property was wonderful. The continental breakfast was decent. The value for the money was outstanding. We definitely recommend this location.

Gorgeous place to stay, staff was excellent, if I had to complain I wish checkin time was earlier but the staff worked with me & pool/hot tub was to hot but I didn’t stay there for the pool, stayed there cuz its just away from downtown and was a beautiful Victorian house feel to it. I will definitely recommend the stay to others & would love to stay there again

Positives: great location to town, bike routes and across the street from Lake Huron. Also the room was clean. Breakfast included and great front porch to watch the sunset. Negatives: The room we stayed did not look like the photos from the website. Was rather small and we heard everything from neighboring rooms and the hallway, and i mean EVERYTHING, if you know what I mean! I know it’s Mackinaw Island and so prices are outrageous, but I guess I was expecting more for $650 a night. Also, pool area was a big stainless steel sink for a hot tub (no pool). One more thing; many people hang around the front porch and drink themselves into a stupor and become loud and obnoxious. I’m betting one of them was responsible for setting off the inn fire alarm at 4am in which we had to evacuate!

Enjoyed my stay after the Chicago to Mackinac sailboat race. Quiet and convenient, this is a great location.

Was period appropriate and very well kept and the staff was wonderful.

This was a delightful inn with a great porch for morning coffee and afternoon wine. I would highly recommend this location to anyone traveling to Mackinac. It was away from the crowds but still just a short walk from everything.

Lovely stay. Room was cute and property was nice. Bathroom was pretty basic, but overall the stay was great for our visit!
