I booked two Deluxe rooms here. Aside from the relatively good location (about 800m from the beach), everything else, from check-in to room service, had numerous drawbacks:
* Delays: The hotel stipulated 2 PM check-in, but they didn't hand over the rooms until 3 PM. Even though the room was over an hour late during peak season, the staff didn't offer any apology.
** Careless room cleaning and towel replacement (the biggest drawback): On the morning of the second day, I requested both rooms be cleaned and the towels replaced. Around 9 PM, when my family returned from our outing:
+ First room: The staff only replaced one towel; the old, used towel was simply folded and left on the shelf.
+ Second room: There wasn't even a single new towel; the room was completely filled with the old one!
Neglectful handling of the issue: I called the reception desk to complain about the lack of towels, and they said, "It's peak season, we'll have to go find some," then ignored me for over an hour. I had to call a second time before they finally brought towels to one room; the other room was left unattended.
➔ A busy hotel during peak season is the hotel's responsibility, but neglecting basic hygiene items and then acting in such a evasive and unproactive manner is unacceptable.
