Modern hotel with unusually spacious rooms by French standards, and comfortable as well.

Bedding was insufficient and tea and coffee not replenished and no milk provided. Otherwise OK.

Excellent location if visiting Bayonne, 5 mins walk to the old town. The hotel does not have parking, but there is a large public carpark 200 mtrs away. You do have to pay, but is quite reasonable (15:00 - 14:00 next day, was €11). English spoken by staff. Bar and restaurant.

The hotel is very nice but the air conditioning was broken. I specifically booked a hotel with aircon, it was a hot night and I could not sleep.

Wonderful! Beautiful decor, plush towels, comfortable bed, plenty of pillows, rainwater shower, hardwood floors, security, great restaurant, close to train station, walkable to every thing, no view but not needed.

This nice hotel is clearly focused on curating a specific ‘experience’ for the traveler, but it feels as though the traveler is accountable for understanding how to adapt to their unique setup. This left me unsure of how to interact with the staff or navigate the space effectively. For example, I wasn’t sure if I should order from the bar and wait for my drink or simply take a seat—it wasn’t immediately intuitive. Could I order a cappuccino in the lobby bar/cafe/reception area? There were wonderful books to look at and a big screen TV.
