Great

This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the central train station, yet our room was remarkably quiet. In fact, the entire hotel was peaceful—we often felt as though we were the only guests. We stayed in a traditional quadruple room, which was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. We especially appreciated the traditional dining area, which added to the experience. The staff were welcoming and pleasant, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. If I could suggest a couple of areas for improvement, the bathroom was a little dark, and our room did not offer any view. Although our corner room had several windows, they were frosted and could not be opened. These were only minor drawbacks and did not detract significantly from our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

The room size was perfect for our family of 4. The deep bath was amazing after a long day of walking around. The hotel was within walking distance of Kyoto station and a mall as well as the aquarium. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The traditional Japanese breakfast wasn’t a favourite of my children, however there was a Family Mart, Lawsons and 7-11 all within walking distance so breakfast was sorted. There was a laundromat close by as well. I would stay here again.

The location was a little hidden but can be found easily. Close to Kyoto station, about a 5-10 minute walk. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious, was actually surprised but in a good way. Very clean and tidy.There were a few combini nearby, within walking distance. Great hotel to stay at, highly recommend!

Every was great, when we arrived no one was at the front lobby to greet us, n after repeated bell ringing and asking someone to call the receptionist she came after 10/15 minutes. That experience could have been better

Authentic place and very nice staff

The property itself was okay. The hotel itself was very quiet and staff weren’t always around. At times it felt like a ghost hotel. The room itself was spacious, with a nice bathroom. However, there wasn’t any cupboard space, the space I don’t think was used efficiently as it could have been. It is the first hotel I’ve ever been too around the world that doesn’t change your bed… I stayed 5 days and they don’t change the sheets at any point. They do come in to change the bins replace the item of clothing- the gown they provide. Staff were polite but there wasn’t any information about their restaurant or local area handed out. Would I stay here again? No.

The Room was very nice, except for the big step up to enter bathroom. Good bed - large enough for Americans. Resturant only serves Japanese breakfast, and often closed for dinner while we were there.

Amazing little hotel close to Kyoto station. Very nice rooms and great service. It’s a nice mix of modern luxuries with some traditional features. Not an issue for us but we didn’t know about the accommodation tax that we had to pay when we checked in. It wasn’t a lot and it goes to keeping the city maintenance but we didn’t know about it till we got there.

I didn’t expect this place to be as amazing as it was my only regret is is that we stayed at other places in Kyoto. This place is no joke, it’s utterly amazing

Hotel and staff were really great, they let us check in early as room was available, they kept our luggage next day after check out time so we could explore around, rooms are spacious. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

The air conditioning

Not an easy way to pull up to hotel; parking for the hotel is around the corner. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was excellent, service was slow.

The property had plenty of room for our family and with our luggage. It is a short walk from the Kyoto Station (10-15 minutes). There are several 7-11's located in the area so you can grab food/drinks. The hotel also has a restaurant/bar located in the lobby/common area. The staff was friendly and assisted us with any questions we had. They provided us with amenities such as toiletries, fresh towels daily, and water. The rooms are newer and the bathroom was new and had a nice shower/tub. We really enjoyed the space, we have stayed at plenty of hotels throughout Japan and this room had more room than other places which helps when you are traveling with a family. Tge neighborhood was quiet which was nice not hearing the cars and city life. We would stay there again.

We're a group of 6. This room provided us more than enough space for each of us. The tatami area is spacious that we could lay 4 futons + the table with sitting for tea in there. Sliding doors provide privacy from the bedding and tatami areas. So, my husband and I could sleep without feeling like 6 people in a room. Also, the bathroom is nice and big. I could bath in an American standard bathtub each day. I loved it! Also, the hotel was the only one that we would receive bottle waters each day comparing with other 3 hotels we stayed in our trip.

Clean and quiet place , near to the Kyoto Station

We were a group of 6 and we had a lot of room. Very nice bathroom and had lots of amenities. Staff is very generous and friendly.
