The area is sketchy. You have to put your luggage through a metal detector upon arrival. Luckily I was there just to sleep and catch an early flight out. The first room smelled like mold. The 2nd room was a little better. The staff was not thrilled to move me…Expedia says this hotel is “wonderful”. Very disappointing, never again.

Had a wonderful stay at the four points Dar es Salaam, location was great for getting around the city, getting the ferry etc, the harbour room views were stunning, could not fault the staff from porters to check in, restaurant staff etc, nothing was too much to ask. I will stay here again if I come back and can recommend it for a city hotel

The food at Bandari Grill was delicious and the staff were friendly. I wish the pool was better maintained and the transportation to the airport was not $50 USD for a 10 km ride.

Property clean and well maintained. Buffet was amazing, staff member Charles was helpful and very nice. Only stayed 1 night and then took Ferry to Zanzibar

Expedia advertised on its site that airport shuttle to and from the hotel is included in the room fare. Unfortunately, those rides cost $50 one way.

Hotel seemed very clean. The staff was extremely courteous and professional upon arrival.

In its development I presume a great Hotel and location, unfortunately the area around it needs an uplift….
