Overall the Samsara is a Beautiful resort. Can use Alot of upgrades innthe rooms. Once the upgrades to the rooms are handled, this will definitely be the go to spot in Negril. Close to so much. I would recommend adding some lights at the front entrance, water fall going down the ramp to the rooms. More nightly theme events, maybe. The staff, started off rocky, but later that evening, we were singing ad dancing with each other. Make sure you check out the bartender Tina. AMAZING ALSO, MS JENNIFER at check in Amazing. Be patient that's all. If you can fit towels and washcloths in your bag or buy when you land. You will be fine.

Good spot for those on a budget but want resort feeling. They have the traditional rooms that's oceanside, and then you have the bungalows, which are more secluded but with the ambiance of the jungle. That's were we stayed. Our room was spacious, plenty of storage, beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean. The air-conditioned kept the room nice and chilled. They have an onsite gift store, restaurants and bar. Food was tasty. You can do buffet which changed daily or order something off the menu. Someone is alway at the lobby entrance to assist with crossing the busy road. I felt safe, was within a reasonable drive to the sandy beach. Samsara sister hotel was right on the beach and a shuttle was provided to and from for free. This was not my typical hotel esthetic as I normally stay in All inclusive modern hotels. I'm happy I gave it a try and would stay there again. It has a true Jamaica vibe for sure.

When we were looking for a place to stay we wanted a place that was retro. We are not a fan of super new and fancy places. They are too sterile and disconnected. The Samsara fit the bill, it has everything you need and the location is awesome. The rooms were clean and property is kept. You can tell that there was significant cleanup from the storm last year. The staff are all very nice and helpful. A shout out to Jennifer at the front desk. The bartenders made great drinks and were nice to engage with. The thing we like the most was we felt we were able to engage with an authentic Negril experience.

Had an ocean view room which had a great view and was quite close to the water. We wanted a room with two beds but had to settle for a queen bed and a cot. We didn’t have all inclusive plan but paid for drinks and enjoyed the pizza made at resort. Walking to nearby restaurants was a little nervous as there isn’t much of a shoulder on the road. Pool was warm and clean. We were there for a week and saw a band play twice there. Awesome!

The air conditions was working (which is needed). The rooms were very clean also the pool. A live band was playing Friday night. We walk to near by store to get snacks the area was safe. I did not eat on the property. My only was it was four of us and the gave us towels for two even when I specifically ask for four and no new bath mat. Overall I will stay again.

it was a great stay, definitely felt at home

The a/c did not work all of the time and the brown outs didn’t help. The tv would only stay on for a few minutes then it would turn off. The staff was great and Jamaica was fun next time I will stay at the beach side

Definitely budget friendly.

The real deal . If you are a traveler who wants a cocoon from the realities of where you are traveling go elsewhere. Wonderful people and resting by the cliffs has been a highlight of my life.

The staff was outstanding! They were very attentive and really made you feel that you were a part of their Jamaican family! I liked our bungalow it was very spacious although somewhat dated with some fresh curtains and furniture. That would be fabulous. The food was excellent; I enjoyed the morning breakfast the best with Georgia starting my day with her smile! I looked forward every evening to Henry always smiling and making sure we had everything we needed. The girls from the front desk to housekeeping to the bar made every day a blessing! Special love to Tina, Maraceli, Kimi for always smiling you are truly beautiful inside and out! If you’re looking for a five star resort, this is not it but if you’re looking for a relax and pleasure, this is the ultimate resort

Very stingy on towels. Overall cleanliness could be improved. Bar staff was excellent.

The views of the cliff and the sunset was the best part of the trip. Staff were very accommodating and for that I’m very happy about. Staff are doing the best they can with what they are given, the place could use some improvement and remodeling on some of the units. There’s not a lot of food options if you choose all inclusive, so something to be mindful of if you choose that option and have dietary restrictions. This is not a fancy place, but it has all the charm and cultural vibes of Negril. Restaurants and beaches are close and you can get a taxi ride right from the hotel. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at Samsara Hotel.
