The staff is what makes this place so nice to go to. But unfortunately the facility is just something outdated. We unfortunately came on a time where the seaweed washed ashore which is something that happens and because of that we were unable to use any of the water sports amenities. This really put a damper on the trip. You're not told this when you book but to call and get food delivered to your room you must have Butler Service or there is no room service. The staff was nice enough to accommodate for my girlfriend's birthday for one day. I've just never have stayed at a resort or any hotel that doesn't have room service. We try to go play tennis one day and there was only one tennis ball available that look like it was sitting in a mud pile for a couple days. The staff is what makes this Resort. The facility itself can use some upgrade in which they're in the process of doing. Give it two or three years and I wouldn't recommend giving it a try

Everything about this property was amazing. The staff members were very friendly and helpful, the food and restaurant options were excellent, beach is very specious and beautiful. We will be definitely coming back one these days. We truly enjoyed our stay

I never really gravitated towards all-inclusive resorts; however, my trips to two Sandals resorts have shown me the value of just purely relaxing and not lifting a finger. We stayed in a walk-out room on the Royal Barbados property (there’s two properties that are connected) and it was such a great and spacious room! The bass

Overall, our stay was less than average. We stayed for 5 nights and I killed 2 roaches within that timeframe. The majority of the staff that we came into contact with was rude! The beds are also very uncomfortable. We will not be back to this particular resort in the future.

Outstanding staff, access to both properties was also great which allowed us access to all 20 restaurants and other amenities. Our vacation started and finished with outstanding reception and service from the transportation driver to/from the airport.

Was hard to get a chair at the pools or beach! Food was awesome. Friendly staff!

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 – Beautiful Property, Great Food, but Service Needs Improvement We recently stayed at a Sandals resort and were genuinely impressed by how beautiful the property was. The grounds were immaculate, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the food throughout the resort was truly amazing. You can tell a lot of care goes into the culinary experience, and we appreciated that. However, a few service issues kept the stay from being perfect. At one of the restaurants, we waited for a lunch table and were ignored for about two minutes while staff walked past us without acknowledging we were there. It wasn’t a long wait, but it didn’t match the level of attentiveness you expect from a resort of this caliber. The biggest disappointment was with one of our excursions. It had been scheduled for the day before, but when we arrived on time, we ended up waiting in the lobby for an hour only to be told it was cancelled due to lack of availability. It was frustrating to lose that time and miss out on an experience we were looking forward to—especially since we could have planned something else instead. Overall, the resort itself is stunning and the food exceeded expectations, but the service inconsistencies and excursion mishap were disappointing. With a bit more attention to guest communication and hospitality, this stay could have easily been a five‑star experience.

Food was absolutely amazing!! We loved how big the property was and how we got both resorts. We’ll definitely be back!

Room was spacious although there were some signs of wear & tear (eg marble counter top was cracked in 2). Most staff were very courteous & pleasant although some servers in the breakfast buffet seemed to not care at all about engage positively & pleasantly with guests.

The main issue with this resort is the customer service. It is horrible. There are a couple great staffers but in general, the staff is comparable to going to the DMV to get your driver's license renewed.

What can I say! Absolutely fantastic… Service was of the scale, food and drink were spot on and the grounds and amenities were amazing. In my top 3 holidays of all time. One slight criticism, you cannot get away from music anywhere on the resort if you wanted a bit of quiet relaxing.

Absolutely loved this resort and it gave us our best vacation ever!!! Beautiful, safe island…respectful people everywhere. I keep telling people this was such a great trip, it almost feels like we were in an ad for the trip, not on the trip, lol! We are in serious talks to come back same time next year for my 50th bday!

The food at the property was good. There was construction going on directly outside my room which was extremely loud and inconvenient. When I asked to move my room and even offered to pay to an upgraded room I was told nothing was available. They ran out of a ton of the ingredients for mixed drinks, limes, etc. Our room had a damp, wet, musty smell. The faucet in the room was completely busted. The staff was not the friendliest and at times seems annoyed to help. The gym and pools were great.

Property looks nothing like the photos. Staff are not friendly and birds sit on your table while trying to eat. Free roaming chickens, not a fan.

Overall great stay! The rooms need updating on the Barbados side as they are a little dated and worn especially in the bathrooms
