Adult pool, Ansh and Saif were absolutely brilliant and Chef Ramen was absolutely fantastic and did an outstanding job for our friend who had allergies. Spa was beautiful and excellent treatments in particular the massages. Really enjoyed the “wine and clay” experience 10/10. Certain aspects let the resort down and make it not quite 5* in my opinion, service isn’t fantastic and the sun loungers are very basic ( I know petty but these things make a difference). The swimming pool was broken for three days when we arrived. Lunch and dinner menus in the restaurants are virtually the same so is fine for a week but becomes very samey any longer. Gin bar isn’t included in the package and they don’t make that clear. The restaurant Inti is the standard all 5* hotel restaurants should be and the others are really letting the hotel down. Unfortunately if you don’t tip when you arrive you won’t get as good as service as the people who have! That being said the hotel is beautiful and it has all the makings to be 5* just need to get the finer details sorted and it would be incredible!

The stay was mixed overall. The room was acceptable but very basic and did not justify the price. We experienced a strong and unpleasant sewer smell coming from the shower. We reported this twice, but each time the only solution was spraying something down the drain, which did not resolve the issue. The air conditioning was also unreliable, constantly switching on and off. This was reported as well, but again, staff only adjusted the control panel and left without fixing the problem. The furniture in the room was dated and in need of an update, which added to the overall disappointment with the accommodation. On a positive note, the food was very good and consistently enjoyable throughout our stay. The staff were the real highlight of the hotel—exceptionally friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which made a noticeable difference. We booked the hotel transfer, which was pleasant and quick. However, the checkout process was unnecessarily awkward. We were taken into a side room (something I have never experienced before) and had to wait our turn to check out, which felt disorganized. We also had the all-inclusive package, but guests should be aware of hidden charges. Items marked with an asterisk came with an extra cost, which we only learned about at checkout. The issue wasn’t the cost itself, but the principle—all-inclusive should mean all-inclusive, especially as we did not consume any alcohol and expected drinks to be covered. This resort was absolutely amazing, and I already want to return. Although it was a splurge, it was completely worth it. From the moment you arrive through the gated entrance, the experience feels luxurious. The staff welcomes you with drinks, explains everything included, and makes you feel immediately taken care of. We chose the all-inclusive option and were so glad we did—it made the entire stay stress-free. The resort has a beautiful private beach with comfortable shaded loungers, and staff regularly offers drinks and food right at your chair. We stayed in a villa, which was stunning, spacious, and extremely comfortable, with a gorgeous bathroom featuring double sinks, a shower, and a tub by the window. The dining was excellent, with multiple restaurants and great variety. One of our travelers is vegan, and the staff—especially one wonderful chef—went above and beyond to accommodate vegan meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There’s also a café on-site where you can enjoy coffee all day, which was a great bonus. The resort offers water sports, entertainment, and a peaceful, uncrowded atmosphere. There’s also a dedicated adults-only area with a pool, beach, and restaurant. At checkout, they even prepared breakfast to-go for us since we were leaving early, which was very thoughtful. Overall, I would highly recommend this resort. The staff, service, and overall experience were outstanding—I would absolutely come back.

The room was excellent — spacious, beautifully done, with a massive and very comfortable double bed, a lovely balcony, large TVs, and a really nice modern shower. Everything felt well thought out and high quality. The hotel itself is superb. There’s genuinely a lot to do: tennis courts, kids’ club, adult activities, a cinema room, and plenty of space to relax. The beach is absolutely beautiful — calm, clean water and perfect for swimming and relaxing. It’s one of the highlights of the resort. What really makes this hotel stand out, though, is the staff. Every single person we encountered was friendly, warm, and genuinely keen to make sure you have a great stay. They consistently went out of their way to help, whether it was the restaurant teams, housekeeping, gardeners — everyone. A special mention to the team at the Blue Bodrum restaurant, particularly Jason, Dergesh, Sita, Lucy, and Vina, who were outstanding and made our meals feel extra special. Overall, this is a very high-quality hotel that deserves its strong reputation. A wonderful holiday, fantastic service, and a place we would happily return to. Highly recommended.

The junior wellness suite was absolutely everything we could have wished for . Beautiful view and well equipped. The hotel was spotless and staff worked endlessly to keep it looking super tropical and inviting. The ambience of the entire site was one of relaxation , calm and happiness. The water sports facilities were amazing and included in our stay. We tried everything! Food exceptional with great variety. Every single member of the Lux team was kind, attentive and could not do enough for us. Stand outs were Kevin in the Palm Court dining and bar area. On the adult beach we were super well looked after by Saif and Anch. These two were friendly, kind and very helpful. They gave us lots of information about Mauritius and kept us well stocked with drinks and towels. They truly stood out as exceptional with their natural ability in customer services . Thank you both. Taxis were easy and we did a tour of the island which showed us lots of points of interest around this beautiful and interesting island. It truly was paradise . the hotel is average, i wouldnt say its 5 star which is what is states on hotels.com website, when we got there they have a 4 star logo at the front lobby reception I would rather stay at LUX Belle Mere which is more of a superior and 5* hotel experience and the money paid for Grand Gaube is not justified as its very average

The staff were incredible, very friendly and welcoming towards my wife and I and our 18 month old daughter. Veer, Viresh, Krishi amongst others were exceptional. The food and beverage was of great quality and the suite we had was beautiful. It was a sad day when we had to leave for sure!! Our stay for our honeymoon was everything and more, 10/10 would recommend anyone to stay here.

The staff were amazing and very helpful especially with my son who has severe learning disabilities and is nonverbal. They accommodated each and every request for him which made such a difference for us. Such a welcoming and inclusive hotel and staff. Take of two halves. Staff in the restaurants and bar great, food was also great. The but, I booked an ocean view suite and to say it needed renovating is an under statement. It was large with outdoor decking but the furniture was filthy and stained, little pools of water in the room. It’s not a good sign when you have to put a towel on every piece of furniture to feel like it was clean!
