Great hotel with friendly staff. Its a little hard to find if your transport doesnt bring you right to the door due to the street technically being pedestrian only. The breakfast could use and upgrade, it was very basic and didnt feel like it was a true greek breakfast buffet like i have had at other hotels

This property is hard to find—our cab driver had a lot of trouble finding it. It’s in a small street tucked behind main roads in the Monastraki area of Athens. It is conveniently located to the archaeological park with the Parthenon and acropolis, great shopping and plenty of restaurants. The hotel itself is what you would expect for a European hotel—small rooms, making the best use of every area. Our room needed some work to damages and could’ve used some updating. The bed had a weird blue neon light underneath it that made it seem very weird/cheap/sleazy. Breakfast is included with your stay and was very nice although it’s in the very warm/stuffy basement. The young woman working check in was very nice and helpful—much more so than her male counterpart. Our stay was okay, but I don’t know that I’d stay here again.

Great location! Great staff! Good breakfast! Note: The shower/tub is jacuzzi and slippery. Had to put hand towel on surface for safety but overall a great place to stay!

Central location. Plenty to eat and shop nearby.

We had the top floor suite -- just a note that the elevator only takes you so far, and if you book the top room, you have to walk up a flight of stairs. Also, the view of the Acropolis can only be seen from one room (the one we booked) as a new building has been build between the hotel and the site, blocking the once perfect view. However, location was GREAT, staff was even better! We would definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Greece.

Lovely stay at Starlight for one night stay. Close walking distance to restaurants with many historical ruins nearby. The Starlight had newly finished rooms with clean lines and comfortable beds. Our room was quiet at night even though there was a street party round the corner with stage and music. Only slight drawback was bathroom was smaller and floor by sink was hard to keep dry from shower overspray. Staff were amazing and packed us our breakfast, since we had to leave before breakfast to make our ferry on time. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel in the Monastariki area. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious with a solid selection. Rooms are smaller but very updated and clean. Within walking distance to everything!

We enjoyed our stay at Starlight Hotel. Basic and comfortable. Very friendly reception. The location was good for us, near Monostriaki Square. Easy walk to many restaurants, bars and shops. I would go back.
