I don’t have anything negative to say about my Sonder stay—just a few notes for full disclosure. After booking, you’ll receive an email asking you to download their app, which I found very convenient and easy to use. The app provides your unit number and passcodes for both the main gate and your unit. I did have to reach out to them in which they responded back within 5-10 mins via the app. Free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with spots both in the front and back, depending on the location of your unit. For added convenience, you might prefer parking in the back. I really appreciated the small, private area outside the unit set up for guests. Upon entering, I was greeted with a handwritten note, a couple of bottles of water, and some thoughtful courtesy items. The entire unit was spotlessly clean—honestly, everything was perfect. The only thing that could have improved my stay would be having a TV in the bedroom. I like to have the TV on before bed to help block out outside noise, so not having one made it a bit difficult for me. However, this wasn’t a major issue, as all the other guests were respectful and it was always quiet. One last suggestion: the only mirror was in the bathroom. I would have appreciated an additional mirror, preferably a full-length one. Overall, I highly recommend staying here and would definitely book with this group again.

We booked this because it was cheaper but its less flexible than a hotel. For example we ended up being 45 mins early for check in and we had to sit and wait in the cold with our bags because the time to pay for early check in had already passed. Plus one of the baggage storage recommendations was indefinitely closed and then the other place was a random store that you have to get an uber to because its not near the hotel so by the time you pay for all of that you may as well just have paid for a hotel where they will store baggage complimentary etc. Also we liked that this had a kitchen but it was missing basics like there was an oven but no oven trays to use the oven.

The property had one bedroom, ample loving space, bathroom and full kitchen. Very clean and comfortable. Temperature control was easy to understand. The dining recommendation “Midtown Cafe” was delicious and reasonably priced.

Private little apartment but can hear the other units through the thin floors and walls. The furniture was nice but the nested table was not clean and the bathroom needs new paint and silicon. The bed was not very comfortable. Overall a very average stay.

This property was on the bottom floor in the rear of the property and not one of the windows shut all the way or locked. Was very uncomfortable.

Hide a bed was broken. We were 2 adults sharing the accommodation, not a couple. The head was lower than the foot as the frame was broken. I sent you a message to tell you and was given the response that it would be fixed that day. Later in the week I met up with a girl ( putting out salt) and told her again about the problem, bent frame, springs missing and the stick out piece of metal that would have ruined your couch. She assured me it would be looked after that day. Frame was recent. Hideabed more uncomfortable. Kitchen was great! Suggestion is to add a juice jug. We had NO facecloths and only one hand towel. 2 people, 6 days… would you stay there again? Lights were off by the exit to the complex. Very dark, made stairs unsafe, especially for smokers who headed outside at night for a smoke. I did mention it, again to the Sonder employee. The lights still did not work at night. We were there for 6 nights. I believe it is reasonable to expect two packets of coffee a day, unless there is a reduced price for numerous days. My last suggestion is to post how to work the heating system. We are educated people, but it took us two days to figure it out, albeit temperature changed significantly while we were there.

When we arrived multiple rooms had large holes in the wall. I immediately contacted customer service only think I was told was that I would not be charged. Ceiling in bathroom is pealing the planks on floor are bubbling up. Not offered another room or anything. The apartments walls and ceilings are so thin and put together I could hear the neighbors cell phone ringing multiple times and their conversation. The next evening a party was happening upstairs I could hear every word from that party. Contacted customer service they said they would speak to them. Never got a response party went on after contact no communication again. I contacted customer service again about the state of the room. Was told I would be contacted. I heard nothing back of course. Another party happened another evening contacted customer service no response. This place is a disaster. I would never ever return! I was offered the 30 dollars back that I paid for early check in. That’s all I was offered in the 6 days I stayed at this location. It’s an absolute joke of an establishment. Good luck trying to have any communication with any one here

I really loved our stay at The Stat, it was very enjoyable. It’s truly a hidden gem in the middle of Midtown and minutes from downtown Nashville. We were able to walk to many restaurants and Uber to many places only taking a few minutes. Our unit was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Having a full kitchen was nice and the courtyard was great addition. I highly recommend staying here.

Arrival/tired: dark - lights, TV (tried for light) not working. Not good first impression. Eventually found all was unplugged. Only COLD shower 2 days; really bad. Ceiling light/fan in BR would come on all night (and day) by itself. Thought it was morning with light coming on. Had to keep remote in hand at night to turn off light, since it would repeatedly turn back on by itself after turning off. Remote holder in BR released itself, loudly crashed to floor in the middle of the night (frightening way to awaken). Fan would also turn off or change speeds when light did its thing. (Much sleep lost.) Volume and mute on TV didn't work at all; very aggravating. Would be nice to have more hangers and USB/phone chargers, hooks and shelf (or other) in bathroom to hang clothes/hold stuff while using shower, guitar (but missing two strings (would've been great to use/can't bring ours on plane). Really wanted to like this place; all else was good (safety locks, location, clean and enough stock for the week, good mattress, climate control, windows, furniture). The TV with no volume control, the cold showers, that awful BR light/fan turning itself off and on constantly - were all the worst things.

Check in and out process were very easy, parking is limited but we found a spot each day we were there. Cleanliness could be significantly improved, there were stains all over the couch, the walls were visibly dirty with stuff caked on them. The sheets on the bed were these weird disposable sheets I’ve never seen before and the lighting in the rooms was absolutely awful. The location and general set up was convenient. You could walk to Broadway (a bit of a long walk) or take a short Uber/taxi ride.

This definitely was exactly what I needed for my trip. My dad and I went for a concert at Brooklyn Bowl (about .75 miles from Broadway) and were able to pretty easily walk to Broadway to grab dinner, then to the show, and back to the apartment after the show (if you don’t want to walk they have electric scooters all over the city and I bet Uber would be super cheap because you’re so close to everything). The room was on the smaller side, but was plenty of space for us. Living room, kitchen, and bedroom. Honestly better than a hotel room because the rooms were separated and there was a full kitchen. I THINK it might have been a motel at one point, but everything is updated, it’s gated, and there’s a really cool courtyard with a bocce ball court. Also, there’s a Roku TV so you can get all the streaming channels. The only gripe I have is that the pull out couch bed was uncomfortable. There were two bars that were digging into my back and legs pretty bad. But you could just sleep on the couch without the pull out if needed. We just both ended up sleeping in the bed. I think it’s a king so there’s plenty of space. All things considered I still give it a 5/5 because it ticked the boxes I needed (location, price, ease of access, cleanliness)

There was a maintenance issue at this property, so Sonder proactively notified me and moved my reservation to another nearby property. They upgraded my room in the process. I loved it.
