Great Location, Friendly & Professional staff. Definitely recommend staying here the next time you’re in Khatmandu away from the Thamel crowd but close from all the hot spots in khatmandu.

Nice location, with restaurants around and taxi service outside. 30 min to airport. Hotel staff excellent. Room clean except bathroom tiles need bleach.

The accommodations are very comfortable. The staff is over the top helpful and pleasant. The breakfast selections are delicious and the Italian restaurant selections tasty. I would return in a heartbeat.

Excellent stay! Lovely rooms, wonderful and friendly staff, and they even have some tasty vegan dishes (which I much appreciated). Can’t wait to come back!

Great 3 star hotel perfect Thamel location. Showers need a proper clean though, a bit gross in all three rooms I had across a two week period of travel. Staff are excellent. Breakfasts also very good. Would def come back.

The Nomad Hotel is in a cluster with a couple of other hotels in a really lovely neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants. It’s next-door to the Radisson, which is a great landmark for taxi drivers. The staff in the hotel are excellent. They all spoke English along with several other languages and were helpful no matter what kind of request we had at what kind of hour. Both my friend and I stayed in rooms on the first floor, called the cozy rooms. They both had a queen size bed, and the usual amenities. There is a safe in the closet where I could leave my passport and extra cash without worry. The bed was comfortable and the room was just what I needed as a homebase for exploring. The music in the courtyard in the morning was audible in the room, but once I asked the front desk staff if it was possible to turn it down until later in the morning, this was an easy thing to fix. The rooms on the first floor were up a short flight of stairs, but there is an elevator in this hotel. Breakfast was included with the room, and it was always good, no matter what we ordered. I often had oatmeal, but I also learned that they made the best waffles that I’ve ever had. The rooms were extremely reasonable in price, but this is partially a function of the great exchange rate to USD. They brought 2 huge bottles of water every day, whether they clean the room or not, which was great, because the water is not drinkable in Nepal for foreigners. I absolutely recommend staying here.

This property was superb. A boutique hotel tucked into the end of a street keeping it far enough from all the car honking that you don’t hear it. Restaurant and bar on property are tasteful and staff was absolutely amazing

If I'm in Kathmandu, I'm staying at the Nomad. Great people, great service, great rooms, and great food. You can't go wrong here. I only wish that they had a pool to make the place perfect.

The staff was great as usual, although I was disheartened to learn that two of our favorite people had been let go and don't know how this will affect my future choices in Kathmandu.

I had to extend my stay for another handful of days, and the staff was exceptionally helpful. I didn't have to change my room despite how full they were. Thank you!

Great boutique hotel with friendly staff and great food! 2 restaurants connected to the hotel. The beds were quite firm, but everything else was very comfortable.

This such a lovely boutique hotel and a welcome addition to the Kathmandu travel sector. Set in Lazimpat, its close enough to walk to Thamel but infinitely quieter and nicer. The hotel's furnishings are modern and well-curated with local designers and some serious original art by one of Nepal's most famous artists. The breakfasts are extraordinary, and the Italian restaurant Piano Piano does a commendable job replicating Italian fare. The showers are excellent - hot water with strong pressure = and a proper elevator if you need it. Matresses, pillows and towels are all good mid-range quality. Staff are superb. I do think the hotel could be better on a few things - daily housekeeping (replace water, make beds), professional maintenance (without leaving dirty fingerprints on the walls/ceilings), A/C (not clear it is 100% functional). This is the only hotel I recommend for people who value a true boutique experience in KTM.
