The layout of the room was awkward as it had a chair in the bathroom and the bathroom door would hit the desk since they placed it in an odd location behind the bathroom door. There were brown stains on the carpet and they never cleaned the room in the days we were there. When we went down to check the woman at the front desk stopped us as soon as we got off the elevator and asked for the key. It was unsettling to be accosted as soon as you get out of the elevator. The front desk was maybe 3 ft away which we were heading. Upon checking in, you have to grab amenities to bring to the room. There is no proper bag storage. They keep it by the elevator and no one supervises or locks it away. The only good thing about this hotel was the location. Would not recommend as it was very pricey as if it was a luxury hotel but in fact acted as a budget one.

Very nice hotel with a great view along the river , afternoon high tea was lovely too. Rooms were spacious and clean and hotel staff were helpful.

Hotel was lovely clean and had all the amenities required. We even had complimentary afternoon tea in our room. The hotel doesn’t offer luggage forwarding but helped us with sorting it out from the convenience store next door.

Nice hotel with riverside view. They also provide complimentary high tea to our room. Only thing I can comment about the room is too many doors which makes it a little weird and killing the space.

The AC is locked and the minimal amount that does flow is definitely not enough and hotter than the thermostat claims. Terrible non existent wifi. In this day and age, WiFi should be a given. But it doesn’t work at all at the hotel. Super hot suffocating rooms, no WiFi, also no phones in room to call front desk. Have to always go down in person to ask for anything from front desk.

The complimenyary afternoon tea was lovely, I wish they did an alcohol-free option so we could try more of it! The staff are very nice and facilities were good, happy woth the location too. We were travelling by train, I think we would stay nearer to hakata station next time.

The room was not that clean and the configuration just didn’t make sense. Not enough space. The balcony was worth it though and the convenience. Saw a lot of bad review about the ac but it worked great for us

Great place to stay! One on the largest, most comfortable and best rooms I have ever stayed in, located on the canal. Friendly, helpful staff. What’s not to like about a hotel that provides a room service high tea on check in! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was a lovely stay! Great view.

This was our first hotel after our international flight. It was fairly late at night but they offered plenty of amenities, including a tea time service of desserts, which for us was amazing since everything around was closed by the time we checked in. We’re sad we only stayed one night here, but is on our list to stay longer next time!
