It's 80F outside. There's AC, but there's no AC. I woke up and it was 29C in my room. "We don't know why it's not working" they say. Well, at this price point and as a 4-star hotel, that's unacceptable. Stay somewhere that has working AC, not here.

The breakfast was nice. The room smelled terribly of old cigarettes and we had to do some laundry which was already terribly expensive then the staff tried to charge us double for no reason whatsoever even though the receipt had a set price. This dishonesty made us feel unwelcome and unsafe.

It was actually better than i thought, the mini bar was good.. the air conditioning and rooms were clean and working... the restaurant were not bad...

Excellent hotel and customer service. Professional staffing. Clean bedrooms. Walking distance to main tourist attraction, restaurants and shopping area.

The hotel was very nice, the buffet breakfast very good, the staff were friendly and helpful, but oh, the WiFi! I haven't had such poor WiFi anywhere else in the world for a decade. As a business traveller, it cost me dearly.

Staff were very friendly and professional. They allowed a much earlier check-in which was greatly appreciated!

We stayed here for 2 nights on a stopover while doing the trans mongolian express. The hotel was just what we needed after being on the train for 2 nights. The room was lovely and clean, and the bathroom had a bath. Rooftop bar with great views over the city. Great breakfast. Launderette and supermarket across the road. Walking distance to all the sites. Friendly and helpful reception staff. And money changing facility at reception. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Comfortable hotel, great breakfast, friendly reception. Close to Gandan Monastery but a bit far from city centre.

Had a great time. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wi fi was a bit hit and miss. Room did get hot at night so had to open window. Breakfast was a little limited but still adequate BUT best of all was the burger we had at lunch and the two evening meals; one was the pork ribs (actually a chop in the UK) the other was the beef steak. These meals were both fabulous. You often read how good food was but these were truly great, so full of flavour. Would stay at the Grand Hill again just for the food but the bed was very comfortable as well. Hope to be back soon.

Very nice hotel--clean and very comfortable, well maintained with great service in good location. It was reasonably priced, as well.

It was a lovely place, well priced and staff very helpful and friendly. There should have been a complimentary shuttle service for airport pick up and drop off, other than that I had a most pleasant stay. Every time I didn't have time for breakfast they prepared for me a bag of goodies to go. The ladies and gentlemen in the reception area were accommodating for any queries and always with a smile.

Clean, newly built or renovated and reasonably priced. Pretty basic but good enough for a long stay in UB.

Great new hotel. Especially good after being out on the steppe for 10 days. About 10mins from the monastery, another 10 to State Department Store and another 10mins to the main square.
