Staying here was absolutely wonderful. The staff are amazingly kind and helpful, the building is stunning, and the amenities are top notch. We like our rooms cold for sleeping and the AC delivered. We also had to do work for some of our stay at the WiFi was more than enough for two people to be working and taking video calls. The bathroom had good water temperature control and water pressure, along with L’Occtaine products. The square outside is bustling and alive with people and music but the sound proofing is so good we never noticed. A diverse and delicious breakfast menu is available to you every day, and on the top floor of the hotel, one of the best restaurants in all of Centro Historico is available to you for dining.
We were originally supposed to stay at a different hotel in Zona Rosa that turned out to be a bit of a scam. The staff here accommodated our change in plans without a hitch, and were even willing to run a WiFi test for us before we arrived to make sure we would be able to do work here. The gym/fitness center is a small room with just a treadmill and elliptical, but there are plenty of gyms nearby if you want more machinery.
Although Centro Historico is not as verdant or serene as some other neighborhoods in CDMX, it is in walking distance from a variety of incredible historical sites, museums, and restaurants making it a great place to call “home base” during your travels.
