A very practical and unique stay. Right in the heart of the anime district and a short 5 minute walk from Akihabara train station, this hotel has everything you need. Built under the railway, you get a true sense of the hussle and bustle of Tokyo life. We loved it

This is a great place to stay. Warning for those sensitive to noise, this hotel is under the train rail way and the trains starts at 5am till 12mn so expect the usual train noise during those times (hotel offers earplugs). My family and I aren't that sensitive, and it is sort of ambient noise that helps us sleep. Place is clean, very close to all the critical places you'd need in Akihabara: train stations, dining, shopping and sight-seeing. My only concern is that they use QR code for entry to the building and to the room. They don't have 24x7 staff, so the QR code is very crucial for a good experience so make sure to take a photo and keep the original printed paper safe. Highly recommended place!

Right by the JR line so it was easy access to transportation. It is a cool place to stay as long as you don’t mind a bit of train noise, if it bothers you that much they do offer earplugs at the front which is really nice! The walls are a bit thin and the people who stayed next to us were really loud and kept us up most of the night but besides that it was wonderful!

Good location. Walking distance for train stations and good location on akihabara. Down side is the noice of the trains. Your literally under the rail system. Takes a few nights to adjust but in the end of the day after a long day of walking and exploring, the noice fades away

The staff were extremely helpful. This hotel has such a cool vibe. The location is amazing. Everything was within walking distance. You had the train station and restaurants less than a block away. Highly recommend this hotel.

This was a really cool hotel. We had 5 people with us and booked the room with double bunked beds and a single bed. The room was small but still comfy. I thought the sound from the subway would bother me but it really didn’t. Not saying that it wasn’t loud, just saying it wasn’t bothersome. They do offer ear plugs and other toiletry items for free. It’s in the anime district and many walkable places. The cafe was good as well and the staff was super friendly. I would definitely book again if I come back to Japan.

I must say it was definitely a rare and unique experience to stay under the working JR railway. However, the room I stayed was far away from relaxing to stretch out your body after a long flight or busy days with sightseeing. I booked room type F but the room description was misleading. It said 2x single beds 1x bunk bed, but it was actually 2x bunk beds. Everything was so minimal. You won’t get those amenities available at other hotels of the same price range.

Staying in this hotel is a very unique and interesting experience. Excellent location. Amazing staff. Very clean, but this is not a traditional hotel - not in a bad sense though if you are open to non traditional ways of accommodation. A word of caution: if you have low tolerance of noises ( thinking about trains passing literally overhead) you might want to think twice before booking this one.

Just have to deal with the train noise. You get used to it. Bathroom very small so if you big this is not for you. Don’t let the pictures fool you. I loved the place.

We ended up arriving in Tokyo a night early so we booked here to stay for one night. Very comfortable and everyone was really nice at the front desk. The train is loud, but really wasn't a big deal. We enjoyed our night here.

The location was amazing! I would definitely stay here again. Although our group of 4 was cramped in there, we didn’t stay for too long in the room and it was very convenient to reach the train station. My only complaint is that the sides by the beds are very very dusty. Other than that, no complaint.

This is a fantastic little hotel in the heart of a bustling neighborhood but on a side street that isnt too busy. We came here straight off the plane and jetlagged. I had lost my passport and the receptionist called the police and helped me find it. Their service was fantastic and it was such a unique space to be in You can hear the trains, they run right over regularly however they didn't bother us at all and I found them strangely soothing. There is a cafe bar linked to the hotel, really lovely, great spot for a morning coffee

Location was the best part of this hotel. Thankfully it was only one night but, the noise from the subway (which was expected) wasn’t even the worst part. The room had 2 beds but the room itself was so small, the washroom was tiny and so small that half the sink was in the bathtub. One of my roommates ended up hurting his shoulder on the corner of the wall, another roommate his hit head. Waking up in the middle of the night to use the washroom was a hazard

Knowing the hotel is literally under a railway, we expected it to be quite noisy from trains. They run very regularly during the day but stop around 10pm and start again around 6am...so it doesn't affect sleeping. It's quite a rhythmic sound once you get used to it! Otherwise a lovely, modern, well-appointed and spacious room for our family of four. Perfectly located to explore Akihabara...and obviously conveniently close to train stations! If you don't mind a bit of clickety-clack overhead and plan on only using the hotel to sleep and shower, you will love it :)
