Warm welcome and easy check in Cosy room with everything I needed Modern and comfortable design

Lovely comfortable room and friendly, welcoming staff.

Before we arrived I spoke to a lovely gentleman who arranged for a bottle of champagne to be put in the wedding couples room along with a card which was really appreciated. From the moment we arrived the staff were really lovely, the lady who checked us in promptly showed us to our room which was absolutely amazing! The little touches of the porridge pot’s & orange juice were lovely! Makes a nice change to have plenty of sockets in a room too. The shower had great water pressure and the toiletries were really good. We ate in the pub and the food was exceptional along with the attentive staff, we didn’t have to wait long for our meals and we’d been told on arrival our 1st drink was free. I unsuccessfully tried to book an Uber to the wedding venue we were attending and a lovely lad behind the bar ordered one for us which was there in minutes which was really appreciated! All in all we had a fabulous experience and would highly recommend!

Stayed at The George Inn for a long weekend whilst visiting family. The room was lovely, clean & very cosy. Towels etc changed daily. Kettle & coffee machine in the room, stocked well with all you need. Water, juice & snacks also available. I didn't get chance to have a meal this time as so busy. I will definitely stay again & make sure I have a meal next time. I would definitely recommend to stay here!

Great well furnished rooms and a lovely old pub and restaurant

Everything was great, nice room and very clean. The only thing we did not like as much is the 10.00 check out instead of the common 11.00am.

Very picturesque & welcoming Inn, excellent & friendly service throughout from an early check in to a free drink on arrival, our room was comfortable & clean with breakfast items available in the room, also tea,coffee & hot chocolate. Dinner was available in the pub dining room,pricey but extremely tasty. We will return.

This was one of the most charming places I've stayed. Staff was all so kind and friendly and accommodating. Got their fish & chips my first meal there, and it was p h e n o m e n a l. ONLY thing I would recommend is adding a hot breakfast option! I honestly did not need/want it while I was there with my schedule and was perfectly happy without (they were kind to provide breakfast oats/juice/bars), but it would be a great add-on to consider providing a hot breakfast for future customers! Would definitely add to the value/charm of the stay. :) Everything was lovely, and I would 100% stay there again if I am ever in the area again.

Everything was great. The people, the place, the room. Everything spot on and to top it off my first drink was free. So sat in the sunshine with a nice drink mid afternoon. Will stay again. Need to try the food next time.

Couldn't fault the accommodation at all. Beautiful room with lovely little touches! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The only downside was the extortionate prices at the bar when we returned for a nightcap after our day out.

Beautiful place and surroundings. There is a kettle with teas and cups, cereal and water. Pretty room with natural wood. Shower room is a big size. I love everything! Beautiful flowers outside. Stayed for 3 days. If you love the countryside this is the place to be.

This hotel is the cutest quaint little place ever with a wonderful restaurant. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

Lovely pub, the food and service was excellent and the room was of a very high standard. The only thing that could be improved is offering a cooked breakfast rather than a continental breakfast.

Loved all especially the thoughtfulness of providing a magnified mirror, not always thought of in many hotels visited!
