Firstly, this hotel is located in a very dangerous area in the center of Madrid, surrounded by homeless people and drug addicts. It's extremely noisy at night, with constant police sirens nearby. The hotel's soundproofing is also very poor; you can hear everything clearly from the rooms, especially since the subway runs underneath, and the noise can reach the hotel. If you want a good night's rest, avoid this hotel. Considering the price and extremely basic facilities, the price doesn't match the poor quality. For the same price, you can go to a larger and better hotel in the area. This hotel is clearly ripping off tourists. There aren't even cups for brushing teeth and rinsing your mouth in the room; they use small paper cups instead. The bathroom is so small that you'll bump your head on the door when you get up. Water from the shower overflows and spreads throughout the room. The room size is significantly smaller than advertised. Service is practically nonexistent, room cleanliness is poor, and towels are not provided. The provided bath towels are so small they can be used as hand towels. The quality of bed linens is very bad. The hotel's attitude towards guests is also extremely poor. When you legitimately request a refund before your stay, you are refused, and they try to deceive you into upgrading your room without giving a concrete answer until you have no choice but to check in. To avoid being charged unnecessary fees, especially when the hotel ignores guests' legitimate requests via email, it is strongly advised that travelers considering booking this hotel avoid it and risk paying extra for a bad experience.
