Check in and room etc were good. Staff friendly. Only down side the snack vending machine didnt work and took my money.

Excellent location for motorway convenience, but amongst businesses like many similar hotels. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The ensuite had a good shower cubicle and shower gel provided. No hairdryer, but several sockets. For its star rating, I would say it was at the better end. Breakfast was very good for a buffet and the room was modern and clean. Checking in was straightforward but long winded, needing codes , names , email addresses etc.entrance to the building and bedroom was via a codenumber. My recommendations is to book breakfast at the hotel. I paid in advance and had to pay again during check-in. A message to the hotel resulted in a refund the same day. If I am after a budget hotel convenient for those motorways, I would use it again.

The hotel was easy to find, and had good parking. The reception area was well laid out with access to food and drink vending machines. The room was immaculate, and the bed very comfortable. The en-suite facility was excellent. The reception and other staff were helpful and pleasant. A nearby Italian restaurant was great.

Our room (#3) was tired and stark. The bed, although comfortable, was stuck in the corner so was difficult to access the far side. We appreciate that this was set up to maximise floor space for a wheelchair user but didn’t look good. The bathroom was also tired but clean. Our big positives were that the staff were very helpful, the breakfast was good and we were able to have our small dog under the table whilst we ate breakfast.

The best option available for a weekend at the races. Not central and no elevator and expensive, but serviceable.

A step back to pre Covid stays which we always enjoyed. We we a little late down to breakfast but all except the bacan and scrambled eggs was in plentiful supply. Staff were all very efficient and friendly.

Really good just the breakfast room was a little cramped

Had trepidation from previous reviews. But was unfounded. The hotel had obviously been refurbished recently. Clean room, comfy bed and spacious shower. Reasonably priced vending in reception was a bonus. The whole area around the hotel is shopping, countless restaurants and other hotels, with easy access to visit anywhere by car. Highly recommend this B&B hotel, hopefully they refurbish others to the same standard.

Très moyen pour des hôtels B&B et j'en ai séjourné dans beaucoup d'autres. L'odeur des canalisations à l'extérieur du bâtiment et l'odeur de fumée dans ma chambre étaient horribles. Le niveau de propreté n'était pas très élevé et la salle de bain m'a donné l'impression d'être dans un hôtel de moindre qualité. Je suis réticent à réserver à nouveau, bien qu'il y ait deux hôtels B&B l'un à côté de l'autre. Peut-être que l'autre est plus récent et meilleur ... Very average for B&B hotels and I have stayed in many different ones. The smell of drains outside the building and the smell of smoke in my bedroom was horrible. Not a great standard of cleanliness and the bathroom made me feel as though I was in a lesser hotel. I'm reluctant to book again, although there are two B&B hotels beside each other. Perhaps the other one is newer and better ...

used as a pitstop not far from the motorway to continue journey to south if France. arrived 11.30pm, reception open and friendly, room basic but clean and all you need for a 1 night stay. breakfast cheap and plentiful. overall would stay again when doing this trip

Located on an industrial estate, together with 6 other hotels.Local restaurant was expensive and didnt have a menu in English and made no effort to help at all. A short drive away was a collection of better places to eat and drink from Mcdonalds, KFC and a selection of other medium priced restaurants.

We arrived late, thee was someone to welcome us. The car park was locked so we felt safe leaving our car that was loaded with cases etc. The breakfast in the morning was a bit sparse, no fruit etc...., but the staff were lovely and there was an amazing sunrise to watch as we ate!

Use this as a stopover. Just a bit concerned to find my car bonnet covered in cigarette ends - it was beneath a no smoking room! Usual good shower. Great wifi.

We have used this hotel before. It is in a good location and provides basic but adequate comfort for a stopover. However, we were disappointed this time because, although we had booked a no-smoking room, the room still smelled badly of smoke. We reported this to the receptionist but she said that only the rooms were designated no-smoking, not the corridor outside! I noted that there were no ashtrays in the corridor but she said it was still OK for guests to smoke there. Signs in the hotel show very clearly where the no-smoking rooms are and I do not accept that it should be permissible for guests to smoke in the corridors outside these rooms, especially when the big gaps in the door frames allow the smoke to penetrate easily into the rooms.
