One of the best hotel stays we’ve had in Yogyakarta. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality at Amaranta Prambanan was exceptional. Every staff member we encountered, from the front office team to room service, was warm, friendly and genuinely helpful. You can really feel that they care about making guests comfortable. One thing that stood out was the buggy service. Even though some areas of the hotel are within walking distance, they still provide buggy transportation so guests don’t have to walk too much. It’s a small gesture, but it reflects the level of service and attention they provide. We stayed in the Premier Twin Room with Balcony, and it was absolutely the right choice. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The balcony offered breathtaking views of Mount Merapi and Prambanan Temple, making every morning and sunset feel extra special. The breakfast was also great, with a wide selection of Indonesian dishes and other options. Everything we tried was delicious and there was plenty of variety each morning. One of the most memorable parts of our stay was the complimentary photography session through their collaboration with Loftmoments. Guests receive a free photo session and one complimentary edited photo. The hotel has several beautiful photo spots, and the results were amazing. It was such a thoughtful addition and a wonderful way to capture memories from our trip. What makes Amaranta truly special is that it doesn’t just offer beautiful views and comfortable rooms it delivers genuine hospitality. Every detail, no matter how small, is thoughtfully considered to ensure guests have the best experience possible. If you’re visiting Yogyakarta or Prambanan, I highly recommend staying here. The views, the service, the food and the overall experience make it incredibly worth it. We will definitely be coming back.

The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. The menu and food were varied and delicious. Room service was prompt. If you stay here, we highly recommend taking advantage of the hotel's activities and facilities. The staff is very helpful. My family and I tried taking a family photo and the results were very satisfying, but reservations must be made one day in advance. If I have a family vacation, I will stay here again. Thank you.

Don't expect this hotel to be close to Prambanan. The hotel is far away, about a 5-kilometer hike from Prambanan. There are balconies, but they're not smoking-friendly. So, if you smoke, don't waste your money just to stay here, as smoking is prohibited on balconies.

I ordered in-room dinner. After I finished eating, the plates were already taken away by the staff. As I was about to go to bed, I suddenly received a call asking if the empty plates had been taken away. I was already asleep, and we were going to participate in a marathon the next day. You know how we needed a quiet rest? Just to make sure the plates were empty, a call came at 9:30 PM WIB. Just to make sure they were empty. Imagine waking up in the middle of a deep sleep to the loud ringing of the phone, asking just that.

I stayed here for the MJM 2026 event, and it turned out to be comfortable and in a great location. The food was quite tasty, and the cleanliness of the rooms and grounds was meticulous. It's perfect for bringing the family.

This is my second stay here. The service is friendly, the buggy delivery is also friendly, and the hotel grounds are quite clean. The room was also quite clean. The views of Mount Merapi and the sight of the train passing by were also quite satisfying. Activities in the Prambanan area are quite close to the hotel. However, access to the hotel should be more careful, as many roads are still somewhat damaged. Stay healthy.

This was my first time staying at a 5-star hotel, and the views were truly breathtaking. From our room, we could directly see Mount Merapi and the expanse of rice paddies. However, it's a shame that accessing the hotel without private transportation is a bit difficult. Grab services are available for short distances, but fortunately, the hotel can arrange taxis. Overall, everything was quite good. Thank you Amaranta Hotel for your service and hospitality. I'll definitely stay here again.
