Riad Almazhar was a delightful place to stay and call home for the better part of a week. It is conveniently located in the Medina yet close to a main road so you need not travel far with your luggage (as cars cannot travel in the Medina). Once in the Riad, the environment provides a beautiful respite from the hustle and bustle of the market and city. The rooms are quiet, well maintained, and have AC, although I didn't use it. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful in booking taxis, providing guidance, and arranging breakfasts earlier than the stated time so you can get to an early meeting. The breakfasts are hearty and delicious - more than enough to power you through to lunch. Riad Almazhar is a great choice when staying in the Medina in Rabat.

Extremely warm welcome from the owner. Fresh flowers in the room and rose petals sprinkled on the bed. Very convenient location in the medina. Quiet, comfortable room. Bad coffee that was never really hot, but thats a small thing.

Our room was on the 3rd (top) floor and shared a lovely, sun-drenched sitting area with the only other room on that level. Aziz, the 3rd generation owner, was very friendly, helpful and informative. Very tranquil, very memorable. Loved it!

What a beautiful place to stay in Rabat! Excellent location, warm and friendly staff, and a delicious breakfast is provided. And it's really quiet with comfortable beds. The best sleep my wife and I had during our two week visit to Morocco was here.

We enjoyed our stay. Just make sure your google maps is working. Excellent breakfast, bed, shower and ac. Very nice staff.

It was an old place.

This hotel was our first stop on a 2 week visit around Morocco. From start to finish, the staff and property set a high standard for the rest of our trip. In addition, the opportunity to explore the surrounding area made this stay memorable.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful ornate tiles everywhere. It was a treat to have breakfast in the courtyard.

Very quiet despite location. Staff was really great. Lovely breakfast. Room could use lamps as it was quite dim once windows were closed. Bathroom smelled a little musty, but no visible mold or damage so I was not concerned.

Best Riad that we stayed at on are Morocco trip, host was nice and the service and room like a great. Beautiful courtyard . English spoken really good

We had the best time at Riad Almazhar. We loved the Riad. Our hosts were kind and welcoming, and so helpful. The room is very comfortable and beautiful. The whole property is beautiful, so many lovely touches everywhere. We had a yummy breakfast in the morning!!! Staying at a Riad gave us a chance to experience true Morocco.

We really liked everything about our stay at this beautiful Riad. The room was comfortable and clean, and the bed was perfect. The best part was the delicious breakfast - we all really enjoyed it. I also enjoyed chatting with Aziz about the history of the Riad and a few other things. The staff was all very courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend this Riad when staying in Rabat. Do keep in mind that as with all Riads in the Medina, cars cannot take you all the way to the hotel. In this case, the RIad is only a couple of minutes walk from the street, so not bad at all compared to some of the other cities in Morocco we stayed in

We stayed in the Riad for two nights and we were very impressed with the quality of services of front desk clerk, breakfast attendant and housekeeper. The whole riad is decorated with traditional Moroccan style .The room is very clean, bed is comfortable, hot water pressure is high. Breakfast is excellent with many varieties and fresh cooked. The owner is very friendly. Location of the riad is very close to major attractions by foot.

Room was okay, there were two leakage and mold areas in the bathroom. Staff were friendly.
