Fantastic location, but at the end of the day, it’s a business hotel with a tiny bit more chic design that you pay just to sleep in.

Seamless Check-in: The self-check-in machines are modern and fast, which is a lifesaver when you are exhausted from travel. Smart Amenities: I appreciated the free coffee and the well-organized amenities hub in the lobby. Clean & Functional: The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean. While typical of Japanese business hotels, the layout is efficient for managing medium-sized luggage. Highly recommended for those who prioritize convenience and a hassle-free experience.

Overall, Access by Loisir Hotel Nagoya is pretty good. The location is excellent—super close to Oasis 21, Mirai Tower, the Bus Terminal, and the JR/Subway lines. The hotel amenities are decent. They provide hot coffee and tea in the lobby, along with ice cubes if you want a cold drink. There's a microwave to heat up food you buy from outside or the konbini. They also offer free bicycle rentals for guests, and umbrellas you can borrow when it rains or snows. There are some nice cafes around the hotel area for breakfast. My favorite breakfast combo is thick toast with butter and jam or ogura (sweet red bean), paired with a warm cup of black coffee. The downside of this hotel is probably the extremely small room. Even by Japanese hotel standards (which are known to be compact), there are still plenty of other hotels with bigger spaces. For guests bringing large suitcases, especially two people sharing a room, packing and unpacking will be a huge hassle (you literally have to take turns opening your luggage). I was traveling solo with a top-opening suitcase, and I still had to open it in the narrow space between the bathroom and the bedroom just to have some room to breathe. Another drawback: while the bed is okay (though not exactly comfortable), the pillows are hard and lumpy (it felt like there were little beads inside them). It definitely didn't make for a good night's sleep. On the bright side, the shower water pressure is strong and great. I really enjoyed it because taking a shower felt like getting a head and body massage So, if you're a traveler who prioritizes location and access to public transportation, this hotel is a solid choice. But if you want a comfortable room size and better facilities, you might want to look elsewhere. As for the price, it was quite reasonable when I booked, probably because early to mid-February isn't peak season

Location near Oasis and subway, quiet place, clean, got free coffee and cereal at the lobby, the room is big enough for 3 luggage.

Location is great, the staff were friendly. The only downside is the room size. It 's too small for 2 people with 2 medium luggages to move around comfortably. Also need more washing machines in the laundry room, 2 is not enough.
