Away from the hustle and bussle but close enough to get to it when desired.

Have stayed at GSHR in several occasions and always received excellent service and proved another great experiment in all respects. Comfort, location, staff friendliness and facilities are excellent and the Hotel makes genuine effort to make guests feel valued even in the smallest way- lovely to have couple of small chocolates nicely presented and left in my room each day😊 Checkin/ checkout efficient and well organised as was the complimentary transport to and from the airport. All much appreciated and I look forward to my next stay!

More activities and local supermarket shop

i had high expectation about this resort so called 5 star one. They room that we received was very small, bathroom was not up to date, and amenities were below standard. Breakfast was not good at all other than the omelet. Customer service at the reception was not very friendly. They need to know how to welcome their guests for the hotel because these customers pay for the service not stay free. .

Cozy room

Great stay, polite and helpful staff and a good restaurant providing a good breakfast and evening buffet dinner with excellent choices. Room was great.

The hotel was standard, nothing special. Breakfast was below average, no orange juice, just watermelon which was very diluted. Very disappointed only plus point was its very close to the airport.

I am a repeat visitor and will continue to be a patron. The staff are so polite, professional, and friendly. And that's everyone. Their buffet is excellent and the food in taste and hygiene matches any 5 star hotel I've stayed in elsewhere in North America and Europe. Looking forward to my next stay.

Truly a 3.5 star property, even though the lobby is awesome and one of the best I’ve seen in Bangladesh. Staff is inexperienced and obviously not used to international clientele. Power failed three times in one night and there was a gap of close to 30 seconds before emergency generator kicked in.

Not my first visited but certainly hotel of choice when in Sylhet. My 1 night stay coincided with Bangladesh/Ireland ODI so visible additional police security but was not intrusive. Check in, Security and Concierge staff welcoming and informative. Facilities: Exceptional quality hotel reflected in all areas from entrance foyer through to restaurant, bedroom and roof pool and leisure facilities. Bedroom: exceptional comfort and relaxing including superb bathroom facilities. Housekeeping standards were high and team were helpful and responsive. Food/Catering: Very high standard, choice variety and flavours excellent including the dinner buffet. Staff courteous and efficient throughout and in all roles. As one staff member said - “we can make most things possible to give you our best experience” and I have every confidence that they can!! In summary - great hotel, great experience, great staff and great value for money😊

I liked everything !

Hotel is nice but they charged me BD 1900 for 4 cans of drinks I understand the BD tax but they overcharged and I just didn’t wanted to argue so I just gave it as it’s not nice for me to argue for a small amount

Room was clean but they lack services no atm machine no taxi service the in room telephone had no access to service we had to call operator to get the numbers for in room dining etc. we were not allowed to order food from outside and was stuck with food in hotel.
