Among the best locations in Bilbao with walking distance to the main attraction sites. The room is clean and comfortable. We also like the lobby to relax in the evening. Staff are extremely nice and accommodating to our requests (for early check-in and late check-out). The breakfast comes and a good variety of options.

Great location, clean rooms

Unfortunately during my stay at LaTroupe, I encountered bed bugs that left bites all over my body. However, after informing front desk of the situation, the team was very kind, helped me through the cleaning process, and ensured they were quickly following strict protocols for all necessary health and safety procedures were being followed to get rid of them. It was truly a bummer and made the last part of my time in Spain and the days following not quite as enjoyable as they should be, but I am grateful for how helpful, quickly actionable, and caring the team was to ensure I was safe and taken care of to the extent they could.

It is nice hotel close to the main center

A great place to stay - easy to walk or get metro/bus to all sites. Department store across the road with supermarket and take out food on 6th floor was superb. Reception team really helpful. I had a great stay.

Great location and staff, highly recommend.

My family and I stayed for two nights in a family room, and had a great experience. The bed was very comfortable, and it is in a wonderful area. I’d highly recommend this hotel and would stay again if I am in the area.

Everything about this property was great, it just needs a little work when it comes to the air conditioning. Spacious rooms, everything was impeccable, and amazing customer service. I loved every interaction with the people that I met at the front desk. But even though I had the air blasting in the room, it never really cooled, and it made for a slightly uncomfortable evening. But other than that, everything else is great. Safe and you can't beat the location. The location is everything.

Nice hotel. Comfortable beds and friendly staff. Some of the people staying near us were being quite loud in the hallways after midnight. Seems like the party spilled out of the car downstairs and into the rooms... Otherwise a pleasant stay

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities are excellent and well maintained, clean and modern, while still preserving the history of the building. Nice breakfast option and kitchen to make tour own food, as well as good laundry facilities, with detergent built in!

Great hostel. Highly recommend. Excellent location, close to Casco Viajo and it a great neighborhood in its own right. Clean, friendly staff, and our room was sizable. Would absolutely stay again. It’s a great value.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at (and I’ve stayed at a lot)!! Super clean, friendly staff, great location. It’s in the heart of the city Center but still quiet at night. Everything you would want to see if walkable (1-20mins away). Easy public transportation options close by to go to the airport or other cities. Could not recommend more!

We’re in our late sixties and it was so good to be around lots of young people in a casual and friendly atmosphere. The location is very good , central for everything. The room was clean, comfortable with a powerful shower. The breakfast is good value. Staff are very friendly.

We liked the location and the access of transportation from the airport and to the local metro. It was located in a safe area and the hotel was very clean.

French balcony of our twin room opened onto the Circular, so we felt a part of Bilbao (even busy traffic didnt disturb our sleep). across from train station and rental car return in lively pedestrian area full of shops, bars, eateries, etc. central location to walk EVERYWHERE.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great!! Location perfect.
