The location was local to all that we wanted to see. Breakfast was very good and the room was clean and had all we needed. The room was small yet the bed was super comfortable. Would have preferred not to be on the top floor - lost of stairs (which the stairs are very unstable feeling- very old). No real amenities or daily room service however it did not affect our stay. The price was amazingly good for all that we got. Would stay again

The location and charm were the highlights of this hotel. It is in a very old building, so it has what one would expect to be ‘old world charm’. The front desk is located in a separate building and is not readily accessible for things like coffee or quick questions. The rooms reflect a very European feel, small, quaint, comfy, aged. Cleaning is only done on checkout and some parts of the room have never been cleaned (i.e. the corners, fixtures and radiators) Still. It is right in the heart of old Quebec City, breakfast is included in the restaurant next door on a set menu and it has the quaint charm of a European hotel. If you’re picky about service and cleanliness, go elsewhere. If you like to be left alone and can deal with a little dirt, check it out.

Great overall stay. Spent 2 nights, breakfast was included. Room was clean and sufficient for 2 adults. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Hotel is nearby and a good walking distance to the attractions. Highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was good but the cleaning staff would barely come and clean, the garbage was always full and the towels were never washed even after we complied with the instructions. We also never saw a single staff.

Chambre propre et bien localisée, vieille édifice nécessitant un peu d’amour (vieux tapis, escaliers pas de niveau aux étages supérieurs). Chambre rénovée et confortable. Bon ratio qualité-prix pour le centre du vieux Quebec près de tout!

Le petit-déjeuner etait correct à l'exception de la portion de ma femme exagérerement très petite Le stationnement est très difficile spécialement dans ce quartier de Québec on a du stationner dans un parking public a une dizaine de minutes de l'hotel Mais en general c'ètait bien l'édifice est merveilleuse le cachet est incroyable !

I stay there. It was very convenient to get to all the spots I needed to go to great food around that area too never had to go far to find a good restaurant. I will be returning in the future!

This property is perfectly located in Old Quebec. The room was quaint and the staff very friendly. The reception was not available much of the time, so keep that in mind when booking! There is no parking and a breakfast voucher was available for Friday morning of our 2 day stay, but we had to catch a train before they opened at 8:00. I have mobility issues and the room booked for us was on the 4th floor, but they reassigned us a main floor room. So if you have mobility issues you may want to contact them ahead of time. Otherwise, we were pleased with how close we were to all of the famous Old Quebec sites like Chateau Frontenac which was half a block walk. And La Petite Champlain and umbrella avenue were a ten minute walk. Great value for location!

Very nice room in a historic building! Breakfast at Sagamite restaurant was wonderful! Check-in was easy & we got in a little early. It would have been nice to be able to store our bags on check-out day but no one was at the office. We would stay here again.

Bathroom and shower were not clean. Pubic hair in shower, white, unknown substance on taps. No amenities. No kettle, no tea, no microwave. No staff to bring clean cups, glasses. I asked for clean towels, shower mat, glass, cup. Got them 5 days later and they gave me an already used tea cup with tea dripped down the side of the cup. Room was supposed to come with breakfast included, but the restaurant that was to provide the breakfast, was closed most of the days I was staying, so no breakfast most days. Very poor!!!

The rooms are super small, the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything outside your room,

Heating system was very loud. Had to move to a cheaper smaller room so we could sleep. Hotel staff was not very helpful. I need to chat with Expedia rep to get a refund difference on the room type.

Great location.

We were advised on arrival that our included breakfast would not be available the first morning, this was very inconvenient. The stairway between the second and fourth floors had no lighting and was therefore very dangerous to navigate. The room was very cold on arrival, the heater was not working despite the clerks attempt to repair. The tv was not as described and did not work despite the clerks attempt to repair. We were eventually moved to another room which was adequate. The lamp in the room did not have a shade. There was no concierge services provided. I had to rely on my travel friends to contact the hotel emergency number to replenish my toilet pepper, Only two coffee pods were provided for two people for 3 nights stay. The coffee cups were too small for the liquid dispensed out of the coffee maker and therefore overflowed and made a mess. The bathroom door consistently jammed at the top right corner making the door very difficult to open for my travelling companion. The bed duvet was of very inferior quality, the down had settled into the 4 corners. The Kleenex box provided only had two tissues in it.The outer door of the hotel was not cleared of snow which made exiting very slippery and dangerous. I was very unsatisfied with our stay.

The lighting in the stairwell to the fourth floor wasn’t working making navigating the stairs quite dangerous in the dark. The staff was advised of this one the first night, it was not fixed after we checked out on fourth day. The pillows were horribley flat. The coffee cups were too small and overflowed on coffeemaker; very thin walls, lots of noise from adjacent room. Had to call the “emergency” number to replenish toilet paper; the concept of no front desk leaves guests to fend for themselves. No coffee pod replenishments. Constant high pitched humming coming from somewhere, Loose pieces of furniture, lamps, construction materials in the hallway elcove. The heat and tv did not work in my travel companions room did not work but we did manage to get them moved to another room!
