Visited Arendal for a wedding. The rooms were okay, but the shower had very low water pressure. The room included breakfast that was going to be delivered on the door in the morning, but we never got any breakfast. I even sent an email to the hotel asking why there was no breakfast, but the hotel didn’t even bother to reply.

I’ve stayed in the town many times and have overlooked this Hotel in the past. This time the city was quite full so I had no choice but to try it out. I was really impressed by the quality and standard of the rooms, although my room was a very simple single room, there was plenty space to relax or work. The bathroom was really modern and clean, and the Checkin & checkout was super simple through the web, with access to the room via a pin code. I didn’t see or interact with any people from arrival to departure. There was a vending machine in the basement, but there are plenty shops and cafés very close to the hotel. Great value for money and definitely recommended. If I have to complain about one thing, was that there was only one pillow and it was incredibly flat.

The free breakfast was very good and the rooms were small but clean and comfy with nice lighting. Efficient! We got a family room that ended up being two connecting rooms. Each room had its own bathroom, so it was better than I thought.

No wardrobe /closet at all. No TV. No mini-fridge. No watercooker / el.kettle. No free coffee /tea/beverage/fruit No proper coffee vending machine (the only machine for the whole hotel is out of order, see photos) . Credit /debit card payment only for food and drinks. The vending machine has very limited variety. Only one small litter box /trash can in a narrow bathroom. No paper napkins. . Those mentioned above plus breakfast buffet are always included in almost all hotels in Norway at this price level. . No reception desk (not mentioned until last minutes before check-in) No breakfast (mentioned in specs) . The only impressive thing is the digital lock system which requires no staff at all. Change of towels may happen every third day. . All in all, average room charges with too much loss of necessity and facilities to provide much unpleasantness. I will never stay here again unless they changed their policies.

I slept in the capsule for one night. It was much better than sleeping in dorms as the capsule closes. You can get privacy and it’s calm. Coffee and snacks can be found on another floor but it’s not free. Hot water is free. The showers and toilets were very clean. I recommend for a few nights in Arendal. ☺️
