This place was fantastic. Definitely stay again and happy to recommend to others. Darcey at front reception was amazing to deal with. The pools a great size and the grounds are beautiful. The rooms are a good size and very clean and quiet. Lots of choice for shopping even has a IGA so you can buy stuff you need. Lots to see and do around the grounds as well. It exceeded my expectations of the place . I loved it.

Pricey but it is part of the Ayers Rock Resort set of hotels in Yulara and the Ayers Rocks Resort is where you have to stay to visit Uluru National Park, therefore, it is worth spending the money to visit.

Uluru was an amazing experience and hhe Desert Gardens was the idea place tobenjoy it

Great place to stay.

We only stayed one night so keep that in mind! Everything in Yulara is expensive so the cost of the room was high…I didn’t necessarily mind that but I did mind the condition of the room. There were mouse droppings on the bed and floor and a whole lot of ants in the bathroom. The staff were fairly responsive to the problem and offered us another room so can’t fault them there but we had stayed at the Outback Lodge for a few nights prior to this (less expensive) and the room quality was much better! They did have a GREAT breakfast buffet and the staff we interacted with were quite nice but for value for $ is not there

Desert experience with great staff

All the tours can be booked out of the hotel and the buses come to pick you up. The guides are very clear about pick ups and drop offs. The resort also provides transport to and from the airport, so no rental car is required. The provide plenty of (free) activities so if you like to be kept busy, you can....or you can just relax.

Not great to be beside the laundry room. People tended to amalgamate on the laundry room patio and overflow to our room patio. Took away our privacy. Restaurant was good, service was good. They have a captive audience so it is what it is.

The property is rated as being 4*, and it’s not. Our room was tired, and in need up updating, painting and general TLC.

Limited staff who were a little overwhelmed by more guests than expected

The Dessert Gardens is in a great position with plenty of parking available. It was an easy to walk to the Town Square. The pool was centrally located within the resort. Room was spacious with good air conditioning, eeven when the temperature was high 30s . Had a lovely dinner in Mangata Bistro. Wonderful Food, Drink & Service. Also had buffet breakfast there as well, with a great variety of foods to fuel for the day

Has a captive audience so few options, air conditioning in room didn’t work on a 41 degree heat, ants in room. Only one restaurant open so queues horrendous.

We had an amazing view from our room. The restaurant was very expensive.

The manager was very Helpful .. And was very Courteous.

Beautiful property in a great location fantastic restaurant with staff whoo were so kind to put party of eight with one special needs adult son enjoyed our stay

We had a wonderful time at Yulara and visiting both Uluṟu & Kata Tjuṯa. It’s just a shame that the resort area doesn’t have BBQ facilities for guest to use to cook their own meals.

Super hotel. Huge room, clean well equipped and very comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely stay again.

You have very limited choice when it comes to accommodation in this area and for the price paid I'd expected better. The public spaces and restaurants are clean but our room could have been cleaner. It was comfortable but tired looking with worn carpets, damaged fixtures and fittings and just in need of a refurb. Some external areas were taped off due to structural issues I assume. The air con in the room was adequate. Staff are great and the food was excellent and not badly priced considering all food is brought in from some distance.

The staff was wonderful, the view from my patio was lovely and the restaurant was very good.
