Thank you everyone for reading these lines. As a first-time visitor to Hanoi, I expected to enjoy the ancient and gentle atmosphere of this place. However, the actual experience at the hotel I chose left me unsatisfied. Here are the points I want to share after 4 days of staying:
1. Laundry service: In Saigon, laundry is usually only about 20k/kg, but at this hotel, the price is up to 50k/kg. This difference really surprised me.
2. Motorbike parking: The hotel does not have a motorbike parking lot. The receptionist suggested that I park my motorbike at a nearby hospital or a parking lot next to the hotel for 50k/day. Meanwhile, in Saigon, parking a car all day costs at most 30k.
3. Food quality: This is the point that disappointed me the most. The fruit was not fresh, it seemed to have been reused from the day before. Hot food was also reheated, losing its deliciousness. The most worrying thing is that there are flies in the jar of pickled garlic - this is really unacceptable.
4. Air conditioning: It was quite hot at night, I wanted to turn on the air conditioning to make it cooler, but I couldn't adjust it myself. The air conditioning only has HEAT and FAN modes, and the use is completely managed by the hotel.
In short, these are my personal experiences at this hotel. Although the location is beautiful and the price initially seemed reasonable, the quality of service did not meet expectations. Hopefully these shares will be helpful for those of you who are considering choosing a place to stay in Hanoi.
