Clean rooms

Very clean hotel/motel - the room was spotless and the grounds were tidy. However, the rooms looked a lot more upscale on the website than what we saw when we arrived. Certainly not as advertised. The kitchen was small, and sparsely equipped. Security light shone all night long and lit up our room like a disco - no blackout curtains or blinds, which interfered with the quality of our sleep. The beds were very uncomfortable and the bathroom had room for literally one person. Although the rooms recently had a refresh-paint, decor and the bathroom appeared to be completely remodeled, the infrastructure (electrical, plumbing) did not receive an upgrade which was somewhat frustrating. For example there was a lack of plugins for charging devices, repositioning fans, etc. The staff was outstanding and very responsive - always ready to answer questions or to troubleshoot issues. Location was excellent - across the street from Okanagan beach. Parking on site was tight especially with the large number of half ton trucks that were present. Bottom line - while staff and cleanliness were superb, the rooms were overpriced for what they offered. We view this property as a very old hotel with a bit of lipstick. We will not be returning.

Cute little hotel that obviously has history but has been renovated very nicely and feels quite modern. Nice courtyard area with bbqs and a firepit. Would have liked a hot tub out there too! Would prefer the lighting options in the room not to be that stark cool white that so many are nowadays- but instead a warmer glow for more coziness. Maybe blackout blinds for the bedroom. Water takes a long while to heat up for showers but that is noted on the in-room info card. Once it is warm, the showers are lovely. Check-in and out were super simple. Parking lot should have the second exit open at the back so that larger vehicles don’t have to do a ten-point turn to get out. The applies during happy hour at Sociale restaurant were amazing and the staff very attentive and friendly. The beach is right out front (across the street) and the sunset to die for. We visited on May long weekend and the neighbourhood had a nice laid back vibe to it that wasn't too crazy but I imagine would be quite the party area later in the summer. We will be back!

This is a hidden gem! We will absolutely be back next time we're in Penticton.

This is one of the best accommodations I have ever experienced. It is very clean and quiet, with a truly energizing environment. Highly recommended!

This is a very nice 2 star motel. It is well maintained with everything we needed. Easy parking and at the end of the strip on the lake with walking distance to lots of restaurants/bars. The bed and pillows were decent. The furniture is functional.

Great stay, friendly people

I didn't have a car but there seemed to be ample parking. Rooms clean, staff was very attentive.

The room.was super cute! The location was perfect with the lake across the street and lots of restaurants in walking distance.

Check-in was easy. They sent a text with ur room # and door code. Got to the resort and parked and unloaded…. No issues. The room was spotless. While this is an older facility ( (50’s ?? ) which has been renovated it served our purposes well. Full marks !!!

This cute room with comfortable double bed and new bathroom, and sink area was perfect for our overnight stay. It is close to the beach, and great area for walking as well as close to many stores and restaurants. The staff was very attentive, texting us our codes and emergency numbers if we needed help at any time, which we really appreciated! This was a wonderful stay for my husband and I, we will definitely stay there again!

Clean room

The resort was lovely and the rooms were clean and updated albiet on the smaller side. I would recommend you bring your own mirror as the only one in the room is so small and so far away from the sink you'd have toget up and sit on it to do your hair or makeup. Be nice if they provided a second mirror on the wall.

The rooms were very clean, I loved the outdoor sitting area that had a fire pit and bbq's for summertime. The hosts were very informative. I also loved that it was self check-in/out. Resort is right on the water front! Would stay again.
